GGuest UserA fantastic stay! The room was clean and tidy, the owner was warm and attentive, and the location was very convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. The guesthouse exceeded my expectations; the environment was comfortable, the facilities were complete, and attention was paid to every detail. I highly recommend it. The owner is incredibly kind; he communicated with me about check-in arrangements in advance and even shared local food and travel tips, treating me like a friend.
- When I encountered any problems, the owner responded very quickly and efficiently, resolving issues with great care and consideration, making my stay very reassuring.

MM477336****The room is spacious, and the hotel's central location is great, very close to Nanping Street and Shuncheng, making it convenient for shopping. There are also kittens in the hotel that are very friendly. The front desk staff are enthusiastic; they helped carry our luggage, and even prepared delicious hot milk in the evening, which tasted like 'guanguan kaonai' (canned roasted milk tea), with a rose flavor – very thoughtful and tasty! It's even better than what you can buy outside. The hotel environment is also exceptionally beautiful!

1118415****The room number was great, the view was beautiful, and soaking in the hot spring was incredibly relaxing. What I want to give the most praise to are the service staff.
Whether it was the front desk, the restaurant, the room cleaning, or the electric carts, everyone I encountered was incredibly warm and friendly. Everyone I met raised two little hands to greet me warmly, and they were always there to help. As a sentimental person, seeing six little waving hands as I left almost brought me to tears.
This hotel is definitely worth it. I'll definitely bring my family back if I have the chance. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! May your lives be filled with joy!

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

TTangxiaomanArrived in Kunming late at night with an early train the next morning, so after some searching, I booked the Rujia Commercial Hotel right next to the train station. I got to the hotel past 1 AM, and three reception staff were busy and welcoming, handling check-ins. As a traveler braving the cold, I felt a sense of warmth and security. Check-in was smooth, and many shops near the hotel were still open. I bought some food, ate it in my room, and quickly went to sleep. I was pleasantly surprised that a hotel so close to the train station could be so quiet, clean, and comfortable. I slept really well. In the morning, I checked out super fast. The overall experience was excellent. If I ever have a layover at the train station again, Rujia Commercial Hotel will definitely be my top choice.

GGuest UserWe would 100% recommend to stay at this hotel. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night.
The hotel and garden are absolutely beautiful. The room itself was very comfortable. There is a self cleaning toilet, a big shower, a comfortable bed, a nice small sitting area and our room also had a private balcony with a beautiful view.
Every morning we were welcomed around the big table with delicious Yunnan coffee and the most delicious home cooked breakfast. The host is an amazing cook. It was a very pleasant surprise every morning.
The location of the hotel is also amazing. In less than 5 minutes walk you reach Chamahua street with many local food options. In less than 10 minutes you can hike in the Xishan scenic area and visit beautiful temples. By metro and taxi you can easily reach the city center.
Also, if you don't speak Chinese like us, it's not a problem. One of the hosts speak a bit if English and everyone was really making an effort to communicate with translation apps.

GGuest UserVery clean all around the hostel, in the girls dorm private bathroom, and especially in my capsule.
Upon arrival, owner gave me a breakfast pack and a bottle of water for my early train journey the next day, which was very kind.
The room had lockers, common table and chairs. In the capsule, the pillow was more comfortable than my own pillow back home. An adjustable fan is available in the capsule which made sleeping very comfortable during summer. More charging sockets would be appreciated. Toothbrush and disposable slippers were provided in the capsule too.
The girls dorm private bathroom had towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap provided. Everything was fully stocked including hairdryer, hand soap, cups at the sink area.
In the common areas outside the room, I didn't have time to explore but there's hot water available, and instant noodles, drinks and snacks that can be purchased.
Location is walkable to train station but it takes some time, hence I called take a Didi taxi for 9.9 yuan.
Highly recommended, not just for the budget traveller, but for the hospitable experience. I'll return again when I visit Kunming next.

GGuest UserLocation was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
