Hotels in Railway Station Area, Kunming

Checkin was fast which i appreciate since my train arrived at Kunming station so late. It’s within a 5 min walk from the North exit so it’s convenient if you just need a place to crash after a long train ride. Not near any metro station though unless you are prepared to walk at least 12 min with luggage, and nearest station is not the Kunming Railway metro but South Ring station.

This is a newly opened hotel, and the front desk service was incredibly warm and attentive. The room facilities were complete and modern, with smart controls throughout. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation design, and the room's decor was very minimalist and stylish. Downstairs, there are many snack shops, making dining very convenient. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the train station. We booked a family room, and the bedding was very comfortable. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend staying here. It would be even more perfect if the signage were a bit clearer – just walk a few dozen meters to the left when facing Ruixing Coffee!

The hotel is really great — I absolutely love it 😍 It’s about a 15-minute walk from Kunming Railway Station. There are many restaurants around the hotel, including several halal options nearby. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I booked 4 rooms, and all of them were upgraded for free. Thank you — the service was truly excellent! And most importantly, the hotel provides free laundry and dryers. I will definitely come back!

First, I want to give the hotel some feedback, and I'll put it in the review section for others to参考. The hotel is very close to Kunming Station, a 400-meter walk, which is convenient for getting around. However, there's no information about which exit to use. First-time visitors could easily take the wrong exit and end up walking 1.3 kilometers! The hotel should specify that it's a 400-meter walk from the **North Exit** of Kunming Station, and to **avoid the South Exit**! The service is good; they respond to any customer needs. The facilities and cleanliness are excellent, as it's a new hotel, everything is new. In the daytime, after the sun shines in, there's a slight lingering smell of new装修. Breakfast is decent. As for the environment, a common drawback of Holiday Inn Express hotels is that there are many rooms on each floor, and the hallways can be quite winding.

I genuinely think this hotel is great. Its location near the high-speed train station makes getting around incredibly convenient, so you don't have to wake up early to rush. The room was clean and tidy, and all the facilities worked perfectly, making for a comfortable stay. The price is very reasonable, offering excellent value for money without overspending. The front desk staff were friendly, patient, and efficient. Although there's no breakfast, its convenience and comfort more than make up for it. Highly recommended!

We reached the hotel past 3am due to red eye flight and front desk staff woke up to check us in. Bed was comfortable and voice assisted Smart Control in room was very responsive. Location is really near railway station, just 5-min walk away, excellent choice for those catching early morning train. Excellent value for money

Overall, the room was excellent. We had a minor incident where the shower drain clogged, causing water to overflow from the bathroom and reach the bedside. However, by the time we returned, everything had been completely taken care of, and they even left us two boxes of milk – the service was truly fantastic. It was a bit warm during our stay, and the mini-fridge was thoughtfully restocked daily with bottled water, Coke, and another canned drink.

A large suite has been divided into six guesthouse rooms. There's one main entrance, offering good privacy and security. The interior is very clean. However, the house is right next to an elevated highway and railway tracks, making the lights and noise quite loud at night. The toilet and shower are combined in a small area, and the bathroom is located at the highest point, while the bedroom is at the lowest. Water can flood the room when showering, making it very slippery. Because it's a partitioned room, the windows are partially open, so you can clearly hear the smoke from the next room, the lights being turned on and off, the toilet being flushed, and even coughing. It's okay for a short, temporary stay.

This hotel is super close to Kunming Station, just a five-minute walk away, which is perfect if you have an early train to catch [strong]. The rooms are packed with smart features like an 'Xiao Du' smart assistant, electric curtains, and a smart toilet, all of which really enhance the stay – so convenient and luxurious! 🎊 The room's cleanliness was meticulously handled, and the environment was simple yet comfortable. The front desk staff 🙎🏻♀️ were thoughtful and attentive, and the laundry room and gym were very practical. The halal breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. This is definitely a top-notch choice near Kunming Station.
