Hotels in Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kunming

Facilities: A bit old, but generally pretty good. The bed is neither too soft nor too hard. The duvet is fine with the AC on, but it can get a bit warm without it, given Kunming's large temperature variations. There's a small garden and an outdoor hot tub, but apparently it's not usable. It's very photogenic though! The living room and bedroom are separate, which is great for families or multiple families staying together as you can chat comfortably. There are also seating areas in the room corridors where you can relax and talk. Being inside the scenic area, the courtyard rooms are quiet. Other room types might be a bit noisier. At midday, it can feel quite bustling outside with traffic and vendors calling out. The courtyard suites, however, are not noisy at all. The location is in the Jinbi area, not far from Nanping Old Street. Just cross a road and walk through Nanping Hui, and you're in a commercial area. For food and drinks, there are snacks right downstairs, though not many main courses. I think the options across the street are better. The hotel breakfast is à la carte and needs to be ordered a day in advance. We tried it one day, but after that, we opted for takeout or ate out. The hotel service is quite good. They have a butler service, and the staff's attitude is very pleasant. When we had a delay, they helped us coordinate a later checkout. For transport, since it's within the scenic area, you'll probably need to walk a bit after getting off the car. However, you can also have your car drive to the parking lot, and there's an elevator near the exit that takes you up.

This hotel is truly excellent! The location is superb, right behind the train station, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's incredibly good value for money at this price. Every room has a full-length mirror, perfect for taking photos. The hotel's decor is beautiful and very Instagrammable. The staff are super responsive to messages, and the front desk team, both the guys and girls, were incredibly nice. Thank you all so much; my stay was very satisfying. I really enjoyed staying at your hotel. The view is also great, you can even see the Twin Towers!

Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! Downstairs, you'll find a pedestrian street, and the Shuncheng Shopping Center is right there. There are also about half a dozen other malls nearby, making dining and getting drinks incredibly convenient. Service: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were given a high-floor room, and the breakfast was quite good – they even provided a complimentary breakfast for our child. We didn't get a chance to try the late-night congee, but I imagine it would have been good too. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff were very enthusiastic and did a thorough and clean job. There's also a large Miniso and Mixue Ice Cream & Tea downstairs, which are always bustling with people. It's a great spot for families with kids.

The hotel location is super convenient! The entrance is very easy to find. I would recommend you all for staying here, it's located at the center of Nanping Street, surrounded by many local shops, department stores, and attractions, also nearby Nanqiang Night Market. The room is so clean, cozy, no cigarette smell, separate air conditioner, the bathroom is perfect size, big tv screen (luckily, I have witness one of the greatest 2026 world cup match while staying there) The bed is very comfortable. I almost don't want to get up in the morning LOL. The services are also superb! Front desk located on 8th floor, they were very helpful. You can stored the luggage there if arrive earlier before check-in time and after check-out. Rest assured that you will be very comfortable during your stay here!

The room was okay, but after they cleaned in the morning, I'm not sure what they used to mop the floor, the smell really bothered my allergies, I couldn't stand it. The room was quite large, but the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear people turning on lights next door, and even the smell of cooking from next door wafted into the room. Sunday was fine, but after Sunday, there's a school below that gets incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep. In the mornings, around 7-8 AM, there are vendors downstairs selling fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and the prices are quite cheap.

Our stay with the kids was fantastic! The room was spacious and not cramped at all, and the cleanliness was impeccable with no strange odors. The location is superb, with short taxi rides to and from the high-speed rail station and airport, making travel hassle-free. The staff were gentle and attentive, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, it was a warm and comfortable experience, perfect for a short family stay.

It is my first trip to Kunming and I stayed at Four Points Sheraton City Centre. Upon reaching, i was greeted warmly by Grace, and she gave me and my friend our 2 rooms at the same level, this goes to show the detail and care she put into serving the customers. She also arranged fruits to our room. I have nothing but praises for her. Our room is clean and spacious, the amenities were really good and well thought out, we fell in love with the hotel. Location wise, is close to Kunming old street and a modern shopping complex with many shops and eateries. There are many food stores right below the hotel. I met their bell boy Jasper Shen in the lift, he is so humble, polite, helpful and a real fine gentleman who pressed the lifts for me and helped me carry my luggages to my car. It was a joy to see him everyday too.

As a frequent business traveler, I have high standards for accommodation and dining. I was surprised to find a hotel in downtown Kunming that perfectly met my needs and even exceeded my expectations. I booked a duplex business room. First, the accommodation: the room's decor rivals that of the All Seasons Hotel, the shower has a strong water pressure, it has a smart toilet, the pillows and bedding are very comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. Crucially, it's only been open for less than a month, and there was no formaldehyde smell in the room – I was very satisfied. Second, the dining: nearby is the well-known Kunming restaurant Fuzhaolou (perfect for business banquets), as well as popular snack streets like Nanqiang Street, Nanping Pedestrian Street, the department store, Jingxing Flower and Bird Market, and Zhengyi Square – lots of food and shopping options, plus the great temperature. Next time, the whole family will definitely enjoy it!

The room design was very well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Nanqiang Night Market. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and enthusiastic.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give it a huge thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt that meticulous care. The bedding in the room was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very thoughtfully designed. Add to that the staff's professional and prompt service, and it made this trip exceptionally relaxed and comfortable. It's definitely the top choice for both business trips and leisure getaways.
