City Convenient Hotel (Kunming High-speed Railway South Station, Block 7 store) Reviews

Kunming is a beautiful city and my stay at the hotel was comfortable. The laundry service was very convenient. Although the location isn't the best connected, the hotel was very clean and the staff were kind and helpful.

We were on holiday. A lot of food choices nearby are just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. At night time lots of teenagers around the area and they are from the University just opposite the hotel. The location is not in the city. Need to walk at least 30 minutes to the subway station.

The location was great, next to the mall and night market. The staff was amazing and the room was very clean. Be careful the shuttle service starts at 6.30am so any earlier you need to call a cab.

Location is great, many eateries nearby. The only downside was that most rooms are smoking permitted so we could always smell cigarettes smoke lingering in the room all the time. Overall I give this hotel a 3.5 out of 5

I arrived at the hotel after 10pm and stayed for one night in transit. The front desk upgraded the room for free. It was good value for money and close to the high-speed rail station. The independent air conditioner in the room is easier to control the temperature than the central air conditioner. The front desk lady was very friendly. I also took the hotel shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station in the afternoon. Great.

The hotel is in a residential area. If you drive, please be careful to enter from the residential parking lot. It is easy to go wrong. The hotel has many rooms and is relatively clean. It is very close to Kunming South Railway Station. It takes about 10 minutes to get there by carpooling. When it rains, you can borrow an umbrella for free at the front desk. It is very convenient to eat and drink around. The hotel breakfast is filling. If you are not in a hurry, you can eat outside.

When we arrived, we learned that there were stairs outside the door and we had to bring our own suitcases. The overall facilities are relatively old, and the three rooms I changed all smelled of cigarette smoke, so I accepted it without force. The one I booked was a business room. I specifically wanted a bigger room and paid more. The first room I was given was indeed very big (Room 227). ), as seen in the official pictures. The room that was opened later was a standard room and was downgraded. However, the front desk insisted that it was a business room and said that it was just a different room layout. But this one (Room 232) has every corner detailed, including the toilet. , it’s so detailed, it’s difficult to open the two luggage boxes, and then I see that the floor plans are really different in size, and I feel like I’ve been cheated. Bathroom: There are many stains, the cleaning is not good, the faucet is very tight, the switch is not smooth, the shower is dry and broken. Not a single hook, no place to put dry clothes. The residual smoke smell was very serious. It turned out that it had been ****** into the air conditioner. The dust filter was not cleaned, and there were burn marks in many places. It was so unbearable that it lasted all night. There are many options near the Takako train station and I won’t come back again. When dropping us off at the station, the front desk asked us to wait in the lobby 5 minutes beforehand. We arrived 15 minutes early, and no one warned us until the bus was about to leave, and our attitude was slow. Will definitely not stay again.
