I loved my stay at Hualuxe. I was able to talk to them through wechat before coming to confirm Covid-19 testing policies. The service was great, he hotel was clean, and the grounds are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and assisted me in booking a car to visit the Stone Forest. The location is far from the city. I loved being close to the lake and walked there a few times. Overall, it was a great stay!

It starts at 9:30 in the morning. If you like quietness, I recommend not choosing this option. Room next to the pool. On the second floor, you can rest, watch movies, surf the Internet in the Internet cafe, and play billiards and table tennis.

The hotel's hot spring is on the third floor, which is a garden and a hot spring. One of them is Jiaze Luru, and the other’s name was not asked. These two young men not only drove the car smoothly, safely and quickly, but also had first-class driving skills. Very warm and considerate, the car arrived very quickly, and the attitude was very warm and kind. They worked hard and never complained. They drove a long distance and always served with a smile. These two young men and the girl in charge of the hot spring are very good hotel employees and do a great job. It also proves that the hotel’s team leadership and work quality are very effective!

The hotel is within the National Normal University, and it also bears the name of the Normal University institution. Overall it's okay, old-school four-star level. Stayed for two nights in a row. The room cleaning on the second day was not very good. There were hairs on the sink and there were no tea bags (but it doesn't matter if you live alone). The breakfast is very ordinary. It is recommended to add espresso or American style, not just G7 coffee (Vietnamese Nestle, awesome). The rice noodles are okay. The swimming pool and gym belong to the National Normal University. I have no experience with the hot springs, so I can’t comment. The biggest advantage is that you can go directly to the National Normal University from the swimming pool, which is very convenient. The scenery on campus is very good, including a small forest park. The hotel is the second best in the university town, the first is Hampton.

There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools for children, and children's pool toys can be rented. I really like the outdoor soup pool. There are various kinds of soup pools, surrounded by green bamboos, and the water temperature is comfortable. There are few people and I often enjoy a soup pool alone, which is very comfortable. But overall I won't stay there again. The reasons are as follows 1. The lowest temperature in Kunming that day was 11 degrees, and it was windy. It was quite cold at night, the air conditioner in the room had no hot air, and the electric blanket turned on the heat and turned off to get cold. I had a cold after not having any rest all night. The front desk said that because the air conditioner was noisy, it was turned off at the guest's request. Maybe we northerners are not used to the weather in Kunming. 2. The front desk said that the room I booked was close to the air conditioner and there was noise, so I paid for an upgrade. The difference in Ctrip’s room was 70 yuan, and the hotel charged 71. The one yuan I paid less for credit card purchases was also made up. Later I thought the noise was caused by the lack of air conditioning. 3. There is a warning sign on the breakfast table. If the leftover food exceeds 100 grams, you will be charged for the meal per person. The restaurant will play the recording at intervals, which makes you feel like you are eating in humiliation. 4. I did stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The front desk said that because it is a hot spring hotel, most guests need to take a bath. I traveled with my parents who are over 80 years old and repeatedly warned them not to take a shower. Although there was a non-slip mat, I did not. Take risks.
