La Vista Akangawa

A natural scenery hotel. The transportation is not convenient. We chartered a car to drive directly from Sapporo to the hotel. It is best to choose a one-night stay and two meals. There is nothing around. It is desolate. The only company is deer. Hahahahaha. But the main feature is nature. It is suitable for bringing children. Breakfast is a fixed choice of Western and Japanese. The taste is OK. I prefer the breakfast of Akan Tsuruga Wings. You can see deer while eating breakfast. There are three private soups where you can take pictures.

I read reviews before that said you can see 🦌 when eating, but I didn't see them at dinner on the first day and breakfast on the second day. It wasn't until around 4pm the next day when I went back to the hotel to get something, and I accidentally looked out the window, wow, there really were 9, and a group of them. Right under my window. It turns out that the location of this room type is exactly where 🦌 eats grass and drinks water. It's definitely right in front of me, so cute. After that, I went out and actually met them again near the hot spring street. It seems that they came out for a walk after eating. The hotel hygiene is OK, but the private bath pool is a bit small.

Stayed for two nights. Although it was a bit of a hassle to go back and forth, it was still worth it to be honest. However, the hotel services were uneven, some were very good, and some were very bad. The front desk service was particularly good when I checked in, which made me feel at home. The hot spring was very comfortable, the room facilities were also good, and the meals were also okay. However, there was a bottle of water in the room that had been opened on the day of check-in. When I unscrewed it, there was no unopened snap sound. I thought it was like this on the first day of check-in, but the second bottle of water made a sound after unscrewing it. Also, the day I left the hotel was not very pleasant. I went to the front desk the night before to book a car for the next day at 10 am, but the hotel forgot about me. Although they sent me there separately later, it was a mistake, because when I went to the front desk to check out and said that my reservation was to go to Akan Lake Bus Station, the front desk clerk looked for it for a long time and said that it was not there. Apart from these two things, everything else was fine.

The deluxe river view room 2204 we stayed in was not an electric lock, but a key lock, and you have to lock the door yourself when you go out. Room facilities: There was a stinky ditch smell when you entered the bathroom, and there were a lot of water stains on the door of the hot spring bathroom. After that, we changed to another room, and there was no such odor on the toilet. However, because it was not a double bed room, I slept in it for one night and went back to 2204 (they said they would deal with the odor, but it was still there, so I endured it!) The room was tatami, so you had to go barefoot, but their hygiene... I suggest you bring your own indoor slippers. Bed: It was actually two single beds put together... Hygiene: It was quite worrying, and the sheets were not changed at all. The sheets and pillows in the first room were torn, and the other end was dirty. There were blood stains on the sheets in the second room, and there were other people's hair on the pillows in the third room, and the quilt was stained. It seems that the cleaning staff is too lazy to change the bed and didn't change it at all (this is just the bed). They changed rooms all night. In the end, there was no room to change (this price is not right for a hotel?) It makes me suspect that their pajamas and slippers were not cleaned (no disposable slippers were provided in the room) Service: Free midnight snack ice cream and milk (milk has a time limit) Free trip to Lake Akan (reservation required) The room was dirty and they kept changing rooms... Restaurant We stayed for two consecutive days and had breakfast and dinner, but it didn't taste good... The side dishes were often very salty. The ramen time in the evening was also unreasonable, it was only provided for one hour, and then guests came to eat together. Spa was still good and fell asleep. Overall, it was not worth the 6-hour drive to this hotel (the same when leaving). It was the first time I encountered such a bad hygiene situation.
