Family-friendly Hotels in Kusini

An exceptional stay at this resort. We have been travelling the island for the last 2 weeks and this was a lovely ending to our travels. We loved the friendliness of the staff and the food has been good to. A refreshing set menu for dinner as we were tired of the buffets of the other resorts. The beds in the rooms are very comfortable. The morning visits from the monkeys were very nice. The rooms provide privacy to it's guests as it's surrounded by a forest. The only negative is that it is far from other activities and taxis are very expensive. There is no water at low tide that you swim in. It was a nice stay.

We zijn zondagavond 24 september vanuit een verschrikkelijke accommodatie waar we net waren aangekomen op zoek gegaan naar een ander verblijf. Na even zoeken vond mijn vrouw Albatros Ocean View. Wij appten met de manager en hij regelde dat de volgende ochtend om 9 uur een taxi klaar zou staan en onze kamer beschikbaar was. Om 10 uur in de ochtend arriveerden wij bij Albatros Ocean View en werden wij verwelkomd door de manager en konden wij nog genieten van een goed ontbijt met zicht op de oceaan. Het personeel van “Albatros” heeft ons een super mooie week aan zee bezorgd. Een speciaal dankjewel aan manager mr. Frank en vooral de bediening door Mozes en Peter zullen wij niet vergeten. Zoveel oprechte gastvrijheid en niets was de heren teveel. Of het nu door Peter en Mozes door henzelf georganiseerde etentjes op het strand waren of een speciaal menu betrof, alles kon en alles met veel toewijding en plezier. Het hotel was klein (18 kamers) en had een mooi zwembad en lag direct aan zee. De kamer was schoon, groot en netjes en voorzien van airco. Het eten was gewoon goed en lekker. Een enorme keuze aan betaalbare cocktails maakten het verblijf compleet. Je merkte aan het personeel dat het management betrokken en goed voor hun was. Ze gingen als een familie met elkaar om en zorgden ervoor dat het de gasten aan niets ontbrak. Helaas hebben wij na terugkomst vernomen dat het hotel door een andere investeerder is overgenomen en dat het personeel op zoek moet naar een nieuwe baan. Jambo jambo We took our honeymoon here & what can we say. It was perfect for us. Hotel- basic, very clean & constantly being improved, mended expanded. Food- delicious, well cooked & nicely presented. (Dinner hall can be a little warm but what do you expect in a hot country like this) Pool- the natural spring water (big one) was lovely. Nice, quiet & relaxing. A few bugs around but nothing that will hurt you. We didn’t use the small one. The Beach/coral- great if you like to walk & look at sea life. (Take water shoes as it can be hard on your feet) The bars- all served a good selection of drinks, cocktails, sprits & soft drinks. The wine is lovely too. Staff- very attentive but not over the top. The Masi are great, they have great knowledge of the island, sea life & nature. Normally only want to chat, some may try & sell you bits, but if you don’t want to chat to the a polite no thank & they will leave you to your business. Joy from guest relations is lovely & very knowledgeable about the island & its culture. Nothing apart from the drinks is cold here. Which is understandable as you are in one of the hottest countries on earth. Please do your reach on the country. It’s is not a luxurious place & there are bits, places & parts of the island that are run down, not as well kept as you maybe used to. I have found a few reviews on here to be rather offensive. In fact very rude & arrogant about the island, its people & culture. Shame on them. Asante sana to all.

Such an incredible stay for a vacation. I was dreaming of living in a small house by the beach and eating fresh fruits everyday, this hotel has the exact same vibe. if you like to relax and have a quiet surrounding, this is your place to go. Good for families, pairs and people who love quite. The location of the hotel was good, not too far from Paje downtown, with an empty beach. What I liked most about the hotel was the vibe and atmosphere, really nice employees, which are taking care of you and making sure you have a good time, they pay attention to details, what I really liked. The housekeeping is coming twice a day. As you are taking your dinner, they are preparing your bed for sleep with the mosquitonet and spray. Everyone is greeting you, making sure you feel good. I haven’t noticed any bad vibes at all. The hotel rooms need some renovation, especially the bathrooms and the food also a little bit of upgrade. But still a really nice place to stay, would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful and exotic beach houses facing Paje beach sea front . Friendly staff , great atmosphere. This hotel is best for those wanting an intimate , romantic, quiet chilled out experience unlike some full on day and night life resorts . All their food is cooked and baked fresh . Amazing organic fresh juices served all day . Very professional admin and managing staff . Rebecca and Mary were great alongside all of the hotel staff .Evenings are entertaining with Masai dances and chants with privileges for guests to join in the traditional dances . Dinner is an outdoor beautifully decorated setting always with a bbq and grill with freshly made deserts Reception on arrival is 5star with a refreshing lemon grass tea and a cool towel . Zanzibar is a hot place and hotel would definitely do well with stalling some air on systems in rooms . I feel a few improvements could easily upgrade this 4 star resort to a 5 star . Highly recommend this resort
