Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Hakuna Majiwe in Paje. Bij aankomst werden wij enthousiast verwelkomt met een drankje. De locatie is prachtig en direct aan het strand met uitzicht op de Indische Oceaan. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, het eten is goed en dag trips kunnen naar wens geboekt worden bij de receptie. Dartbord, tafeltennis tafel en voetbaltafel aanwezig. Gratis wifi (ook in kamers en bij het zwembad). De kamer en badkamer is ruim en sfeervol en op het terras hangt een hangmat om te ontspannen met uitzicht op de oceaan. Een groot zwembad is aanwezig met ligstoelen. Dat vonden mijn kinderen heerlijk. De lodge kan wat onderhoud gebruiken (likje verf, parasols bij zwembad etc) maar het is schoon en de omgeving en gastvriendelijkheid zijn top. Hakuna Majiwe ligt dicht vlakbij (30 min lopen/ 5 min met auto) het centrum van Paje waar supermarkt, apotheek, restaurant, bar en bank etc te vinden zijn. Asanteni sana! Tutaonana!

Relax, relax, relax. La struttura è semplice e molto "afro" e quindi caratteristica. Sei immerso nella natura e nel silenzio. Siamo stati scalzi tutta la settimana, anche la sera al ristorante. Bellissime sensazioni. Il Direttore è molto gentile e disponibile ed anche i ragazzi dello staff.

Our stay at hakuna majiwe was really wonderful.They are very welcoming us from the beginning.The location is perfect, right on the beach and amazing views of the ocean.The staff is very attentive and polite, always smile on the face.food also very good Thanks for wonderful hospitality

Cadre extérieur sympa. Ocean très agité quasi impossible de s'y baigner. Transat inconfortable et vétuste. Le bungalow propre mais très vétuste. Salle de bain à refaire entièrement. Moustiquaire trouée. Nourriture à améliorer mais personnel sympathique. Aucune animation. Je n'y reviendrai pas.

Great Location at Paje with a wonderful beach. Check Inn was really comfortable and I get a welcome Drink. The rooms and bathrooms has lot of space. And it was possible to relax on terrace too. Hotel has a big Pool which you can use wgen Tide is low ;). All employees were very friendly and the breakfast was top. Fresh omlettes done perfectly and I didnt missed nothing at breakfast. Hotel is close to Center of paje for example if you need something from pharmacy. Manager was helpful when I need a needle at night they concerned even with that little Thing. I can Highly recommend this resort. There are enough Deck chairs and free wifi even outside is avaiable. Thanks to All Team;)

Chambre, salle de bains d’un autre temps mais plutôt propres Restauration déplorable, toujours la même chose, petit déjeuner très succincts qui ne varie pas un exemple : une seule sorte de confitures’ le café s’est du Nescafé Un personnel inexpérimenté mais cependant disponible et souriant mais très pressé de nous voir partir ex: apéritif au salon on vient vous chercher pour dîner, à 19 h 45 car le service va bientôt finir Belle plage mais jamais nettoyée Des bains de soleil en bois et cordages’ les cordages sont soit cassés ou pourris pas d’entretien Aucune animation Hôtel et restaurant en décrépitude

We really RECOMMEND staying at Hakuna Majowe Beach Resprt. The resort is traditional and beautiful, the view is speachless and the vibe feels indeed like a VACATION one from all points of view. The room was cleaned up daily and the towels were changed every other day. In the evening the clean ladies used some Spray for mosquitos and let us candies on the bed. The staff was extremely friendly, polite and helpful, we met Abdul who took care to have all our meals even if we came from excursion when the Lunch schedule was already done, the chief cooked us fresh seafood and tradițional food. We also had a Maasai show in one of the evenings spent there. The beach is beautiful, the sand is white and the sea is turquoise, you can swim in the ocean either on the morning or afternoon depending on the tide. They have a big and clean swimming pool surrounded by beautiful nature and free monkeys that are always playing. The WIFI works excelent. The only thing we DISLIKE was the presence of lizards on the house’s walls and sometimes in the room. Also there are bats on the house’s roof top. There is no refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed staying and relaxing here, there is planty of activities you can do in Zanzibar.

Our home away from home. The friendliness of the employees, the familiar but respectful trea**ent, the peace and tranquility that is felt in Hakuna Mahiwe make this hotel, small in number of rooms, but large in space, our absolute favorite in Zanzibar. Located outside the center of Paje, but a short distance away, it allows you to enjoy a quiet and easy day, with a short walk, stroll, or dinner in the town of Paje, much more crowded and noisy. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable
