We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and found it to be very comfortable. The rooms were a good size, especially considering this is Japan (where rooms are typically very small), the beds comfortable and it was great to have a kitchenette and laundry in the apt. Also, location is great - very close to the main drag, to the food trucks and to the free shuttle to get us to/from the main Hirafu lift/gondola. Staff all very friendly and helpful too! However, note that there was just 2 of us. If you were more people, or with kids, then the living room was a little small.

This would be the worst place to stay in Hirafu in 20 years of coming to Japan We stayed in a studio apartment It’s dark and dreary our out look is a concrete wall lighting is very poor and not a comfortable seat in the room It’s noisy at night A very depressing room and there photos on line are very deceiving

Great place to stay. Need first stop on Grand hirafu bus line. Rooms are big. Have a washer dryer combo in the room. Have a nice little kitchen area. Staff was great. They were super helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again when I return.

A bit far from ski resort but could get aid for free riding when schedule met, though it said no riding service available when I asked by email before trip. All staff were amazingly nice and friendly. One thing to be desired was there’s no bath tub.

Akazora aparment is excellent in every way. Location is walking distance to every highlight spots (AYA ski lift, Seico Mart, several restaurants in the same areas). Room is large and very clean, well equipped with kitchen and utilities. We are lucky to have the room with bathtub. Our room is at ground floor and we can see Mountain Yotei from our window, eventhough it was city view. Overall, our family (two adults and one little kid) is happy very much with ski trip and staying at Akazora.

Great location. Easy/fast access to lifts by shuttle bus. Building and facilities are new and in good condition. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Furnishings, unfortunately, are not quite up to the standard of the building: a bit cheap and spartan for the price. I expected better. The beds have a cushion on top of the mattress that slides around as you sleep. Not comfortable. Also, the “double beds” are, in fact, singles pushed together. This was also disappointing for the price. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the service, but with so many accommodation options nearby, we would look for a place with a better standard of furnishings and bedding.

It was much closer to convenience stores, restaurants, and winter goods stores than it looked on the map, so it was convenient.
I wanted to soothe my tired body in a bathtub, so it was a shame that there wasn't one, but there was a wall that you could sit on.
The washing machine, detergent, and clothesline that could hang a lot of clothes were very useful. Even if you bring only a minimal amount of clothes, they're dry by the next day, so you don't have to carry much luggage! I highly recommend it!!

We stayed for 6 nights and it was comfortable.
Because it was two people in two bedrooms, we were able to stay slowly one by one. It was very nice to have two toilets and two shower rooms. The staff was also kind.
・It was hot, so it was nice to be able to park the rental car in the underground parking lot.
I wish the parking lot was taken care of.
・It was unusually hot, so there was only an air conditioner in the living room, but the staff immediately brought an electric fan.
・I didn't have a dryer, so I dried my laundry on the veranda, but it fell over in the wind, which was a bit of a problem.
・I was in trouble because the TV did not work well. I wanted a simple manual for Japanese.
・Is it because it was hot? Moth or Mosquito? And a few flies came into the room, so I wanted to prepare insect repellent.
I was driving mainly during the day, so I bought vegetables at a vegetable market along the way, boiled them right away, and ate them, which were very fresh and delicious. The kitchen facilities were also sufficient.
