A sentimental accommodation with a hotel garden and river view
I took a third-class train to Kanchanaburi to see the Death Railway, the setting for the movie 'The Bridge on the River Kwai', and belatedly made a reservation at The Zeit River Kwai, a cost-effective hotel.
I made a reservation because the Superior Riverfront Room was cheap.
But the room I was assigned was super awesome.
The terrace of the room is directly connected to the hotel's spacious garden, and beyond that, there is a river view of the River Kwai.
I only made a reservation for a 50,000 won accommodation,
but it has a wide open private garden and a cool river view..
In addition, the swimming pool and the white building of Davenport Cafe in front of it are so beautiful that it feels like I'm in Europe. I'll cancel my Erawan Falls schedule tomorrow and definitely have a luxury stay.
A highly recommended accommodation if you're planning a trip to Kanchanaburi.

Good location…stunning view. Restaurant good atmosphere , yummy food but i forgot to use coupon 20% discount from the room that i book.
My building is G so close with restaurants nearby so like noisy from evening time. If who like music that good to be here. Enjoy the view from room with the music from restaurant lol. In Total all good 👍

The overall hygiene of the room is very good, but the sound insulation is really poor. You can hear the voices of the next room, not to mention the footsteps outside the door. The staff is still very enthusiastic and responsible, but the breakfast is hard to describe. Even the simplest potato wedges are hard, dry and cold, and there are a lot of big ants crawling around on the buffet table.
