If you want to experience a traditional Japanese old-style house, this is a treasure B&B, which is cheap and affordable. It is very close to Kyoto Higashiyama Subway Station and very close to Hachiban Shrine. It's an all-timber house, so walk carefully. The air conditioning and heating are ineffective and the noise is quite loud. You can turn it off. There is only one shower room, so take a shower early. The library downstairs is great.
