The room is clean, the front desk is friendly and helpful, all the details of Japanese hotels are well arranged, the overall environment is very quiet, the hot springs are suitable, and the breakfast and dinner are of rich quality. It takes seven or eight minutes to walk to Togetsukyo Bridge.

A standard Japanese hot spring hotel, with all the expected features. The most noteworthy thing is that the hot spring has single rooms, giving couples unlimited space. In addition, the breakfast is excellent, with electric cookers and alcohol stoves for each person, so you can have hot miso soup and grilled food, see the picture.

I'm very satisfied with the one-night stay, two meals breakfast and dinner. The decoration of the hotel is a bit old but overall it's very tidy. The open-air baths for men and women are very enjoyable. There are also private hot spring rooms for those waiting in line.

I went to Kyoto Hanazhensho at a similar time in 2023. The reservation included a room with breakfast, one night and two meals, which felt good. I will go to Kyoto to enjoy the cherry blossoms again in 2024, so I will book the same hotel again. Because last time I ordered an ordinary dinner (which was relatively cheap), this time I saw a tofu hotpot dinner that was twice as expensive as an ordinary dinner (room rate + about 600 = 1 night and 1 breakfast, room rate + about 1,200 = The price this time), so I gave it a try, but I felt completely cheated. Eating out tofu dishes usually has eight to 12 dishes. Several tofu dishes or shojin dishes in Arashiyama cost around 4,000 yen to 6,000 yen (HKD 200-300). A course dinner at the hotel costs HKD 1,200. , there is only one dish of soup tofu, and the other items are the same as ordinary dinners. It is unacceptable that the price will double if the main course is changed from wagyu beef to tofu hot pot, so I advise you not to choose the tofu hot pot set meal. Then compared with the previous year, the hotel's food serving speed dropped significantly, waiters missed orders, and there were many problems. And since tempura and appetizers can be added, we placed our last order before even placing our first order. We eat at 8 o'clock, and the last order is at 9 o'clock. It's really too much to miss the order. Generally speaking, because of the upgraded dinner, my expectations for dinner have increased, but the dinner experience was really bad, which seriously affected the experience of this trip. However, the hotel’s hot springs and rooms are very cost-effective options (although it is more cost-effective to go to the Yamanaka Hot Spring Village at the end of the year), and it is the preferred hot spring hotel in Kyoto’s Arashiyama District.

The hot spring is nice. The price is a bit expensive so there are not many people. There are many Japanese tourists staying here. The facilities are complete but a bit old. The service is good.

This hotel is great when I brought my mother to Arashiyama. It's right outside the train station. The room is clean and tidy, and the hot spring is also quiet. It's very convenient to go to the nearby cherry blossom viewing during the day.
