The location is great and travel is convenient. The room is very clean, the layout is reasonable, the air conditioner is strong enough, and the water pressure in the bath is so high that it feels like a massage. It is very comfortable, but the curtains are not enough to block the light.
The breakfast was so grand, so good!

What a wonderful hotel! The man at reception was very kind and welcoming. The room was well appointed. The breakfast was AMAZING. A wonderful experience. This hotel is convenient for the train station and the bamboo garden.

嵐山の中ではリーズナブル。朝食に力を入れてるだけあってそこはかなり楽しめたので高評価にしました。スタッフさんのかけてくる柔らかい口調が朝にとても優しかったです。その一方、ホテルはオートチェックイン、チェックイン前、アウト後のセルフ荷物預かりなど、最近多い簡素なシステム。（スタッフさんは常任しるようでした。）朝食時に受けた暖かいホスピタリティーとのギャップを感じました。宿泊したのは12月。レセプションで「寒いので部屋の鍵が開けにくい」といわれ、開け方のコツを教えてくれたもの宿泊階へ行くと数人の方がドアの前で悪戦して困っていました。この時期だけ部屋まで付き添って開け方のこつを教えてくれるサービスがあってもいいのではと感じました。もう一つ残念だったのはチェックインが17時だった事。冬の寒い時期だけでももう少し早めのチェックインができればと思いました。肝心の部屋ですが、新しいホテルという事もあり部屋、水回りは清潔で（洗面所の横にタオル掛けが欲しかったー。）必要なものも揃っています。ここはレストラン業とホテル業は別物と考えた方がいいでしょう。泊まるなら朝食は是非食べてください。

Quiet, amazing breakfast, clean facility, good size and layout of the room, helpful staff. Arashiyama is a visitor attraction that’s usually crowded 9-6PM, so by staying here it’s easy to get a view of the mountains off peak hours. Just be aware the location of Arashiyama is not the easiest to go to places :)
