Walkable distance from Kyoto station. The reception is a minute walk from the room but with clear guidance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is nice and clean but the stair up to the room is quite steep and narrow. Not convenient with big luggage, infants or elders. WiFi in the room is so weak. Breakfast is not able to be reserved on-site.

We choose to took a traditional room with tatamis and futon, and we weren’t disappointed ! The room was spacious, the futon really confortable. The communal spaces were clean and spacious too
The only ”bad point” is the stairs, if you have a big luggage they can be really tricky.
