The hotel is in a quiet alley. The boss and the landlady are both Chinese. There is no communication barrier. They have excellent attitudes, are serious and responsible, and are very enthusiastic. We are traveling as a family, a family of 3, and the boss upgraded the room type for free. The room is fully equipped, clean and sanitary, and there is a public kitchen. It is very comfortable and feels like home. I will stay here again when I come to Kyoto in the future.

The proprietress of the hotel is a very nice person. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Gojo Station and it is easy to find. The room environment of the restaurant is clean and comfortable. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby.

Staff is kind and helpful with check-in, the elevator is a plus The lock to enter our room took some time to figure out but it got done Room is clean, bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the bathroom amenities too It is walking distance to many cafes along with convenient stores and restaurants I also appreciate that they have the front door locked between certain hours just for safety and can only be accessible via keycard Laundry is also only a minute away which was so convenient!! Highly recommend and will stay here again

The good points are that it’s clean and well appointed; should also say that the landlady is very helpful and masterminded our luggage transfer with aplomb. It’s also within walking distance of the station and Gion. It’s located in a quiet backwater but there is a nice cafe across the road providing lunch and a place to enjoy a beer in the Sun. Only downside is that the rooms are small. Was a good place to spend a couple of nights and , outside of Golden Week, very good value
