Imu Hotel Kyoto

It's good for a light stay. I think I will use it again next time.

Except for the fact that the air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted by oneself, everything else is pretty good.

1. Cleanliness It was much cleaner than I expected. It was nice that there was no smell in the bathroom and the exhaust fan worked well. There was a little dust accumulated in the corner of the window frame and the bathroom, but it wasn't bothersome. There was a lot of dust in the dryer, but it was okay because the other facilities and services were so good. 2. Location It felt a bit eerie for a woman to walk around at night. However, I think it would be okay for several people, and it was nice that the accommodation was a quick 5-minute walk from the subway/bus station. 3. Services/Facilities The staff in the lobby are very friendly. There was a person with really pretty dimples. I was very grateful that they very kindly informed me about using hot water. It was nice that the staff at the bar also greeted me brightly. There were 5 types of breakfast, but most of them were vegan and there was only 1 type of rice (vegan), which was disappointing, but the bread was delicious so it was okay. I didn't use it, but you could play board games in the lobby and keep your suitcase safe by hanging it on a hook like a bicycle lock. It seems like humidifiers and pillows are placed on each floor of the hotel so you can bring them if you need more. Our room was dry so we used a humidifier and it was great. The bedding was soft, so I was able to sleep comfortably, just like I normally do in bed. There is a vending machine right next to the building, and there are many convenience stores just one block away. The downside is that the room is not soundproofed well. I couldn't hear anyone walking or talking in the next room, but I could hear a loud noise when the toilet was flushed in the bathroom. When I slept right under the window, I could feel the chill on the wall near the window, so it was a little cold. Also, the 4-person room is a bit narrow, so if you want to open the suitcase, do you need a topper? bedding? I had to put everything aside and open it. Although there are some shortcomings, overall it was better than the photos and reviews I saw when making a reservation, and I especially liked the very friendly service. I visited with my friends on a graduation trip, and I want to visit again the next time I come to Kyoto!

Everything is great, the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry and large, the breakfast has many choices and is very delicious, the staff is polite and speaks good English. Have the opportunity to participate in Japanese cultural experience activities such as tea ceremony and wagashi making. The experience is great, with free hot tea, water, coffee, and free sake in the lobby. It is a four-minute walk from Shijo Station. There is a convenience store near the hotel, which is really great value!

清潔ですし、スタッフの対応も素晴らしいです。 そして宿泊者には日本酒飲み放題サービスがありました！

年末年始で利用しました。欧米のお客様が多く少し不安でしたが、ホテルの皆様がとても気を遣ってくださり、とても良い年越しとなりました。 また、京都に行く時は必ず利用したいと思います。
