MIMARU Kyoto Nishinotoin Takatsuji Reviews

We had a mini apartment-room with 4 beds, a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, dining table, tv and bathtub. It was very comfortable for 3 adults and 2 small kids. They changed towels and emptied garbage bins. I loved that they had a selection of tea and coffee pots by the elevator for free to take to the room as needed. Although we didn’t use it, there is a coin washing machine and dryer. The reception is super helpful and speaks English. The area around I has a nice atmosphere with many small restaurants around. I loved it. I’ll come back next time. This hotel chain has several hotels around the city. Very convenient locations.

Mimaru is best for family stay , we are travelling with 3 kids therefore the hotel is just perfect for us

Compared with other hotels in Japan, the room space is sufficient. There is enough space to open four large suitcases. The staff is friendly. The location is a little away from the subway station. The environment is quiet at night.

The room is big enough for the sun, and there is a kitchen to cook wild food... so neat... so clean! It’s so hard to use this toothpaste without complaining outside of Paris😊 There are parking lots nearby, and you can get back to the hotel in 1-2 minutes!

The service is good and the space is large. The bathroom is also clean. Some of the staff at the counter can speak Chinese. Apple TV, speakers or toys are provided for free so that you can have more entertainment with friends at night.

The room is clean, the facilities are new, the location and service are great!

I am very satisfied with the service and room size and configuration. My family of four lived very comfortably. It was the best hotel experience during this trip to Japan.

It is suitable for family travel. The floor of the apartment room is very thin, which is equivalent to the domestic two-three-star standard. The hotel does not have breakfast, and the front desk service will be closed in the evening. There is a FamilyMart 200m away, and there is also a famous coffee shop "Unzen"

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just walking distance to the Pokémon Center. The hotel front desk staff recommended a burger restaurant nearby that was super delicious!

The Bikachao room is very beautiful, and the children like it very much. The room is very spacious, with a kitchen, shower room, and 2 toilets. There are 2 convenience stores nearby. There is a parking lot near the hotel for self-driving tours, which is very convenient. The waiters can also speak Mandarin and English.

The location wasn't near Kyoto Station, but the bus to Kamo River and other tourist spots was 5-6 minutes on foot. First of all, it was nice that Nishiki Market was nearby. There is a post office and convenience store nearby The location is also great, but all the staff are really so kind. If I come back to Kyoto, I'd definitely stay here again. There is a bicycle rental system on the 1st floor, and you can rent Apple TV or board games. The room I stayed in was a Japanese style room with a tatami living room, and it was very spacious for the price. The three of us were able to use it comfortably, and it was nice to have an induction stove and coffee machine in the kitchen. I stayed comfortably and happily while staying in Kyoto ☺️❤️✨

Japan has good air, so I didn't worry about dust outside of the accommodation, but the moment I entered the room, my nose tickled. Even at a glance, it was full of dust everywhere. Floors, windows, bed frames, air conditioners, wall structures, etc. It was obvious that no dust-related cleaning was done, only bedding and toilets were touched. So I went to the lobby and said. They said they would do the cleaning again, but when they came back it was not done at all. This is a hotel that doesn't care about dust at all. So I ended up cleaning it myself.
