The rooms in Kyoto are unexpectedly better than the price. It's a grace house with someone taking care of it. But if check-in is later than 3 p.m., you have to take the key yourself. OK, we were lucky to stay on the ground floor, no need to walk up. The room is big, the equipment in the room is complete. There are bicycles for rent to ride around the city. The rooms are clean and have a washing machine. Around the accommodation there are restaurants, a supermarket, and a market, not far from tourist attractions. Suitable for families who want to relax.

Stated got parking but in the end it was a paid parking. And then when check in still need pay extra 2400 yen? I have been to many airbnb usually just need pay deposit and will return later but this ben's guesthouse need us to pay and no return. In addition, our room is in the fourth floor with to lift. We need to carry 6 of our big luggage up. Very dissapointing

This hotel is in the market street, there's supermarket and convenience stores nearby. Walking distance to bus stops. Room is very clean. The host, Ben, is a very nice person.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ben's. Ben himself is incredibly helpful and gave us some recommendations for some amazing local cuisine! The property itself is very cozy and feels more down to earth than just a hotel. If youre planning a trip to Kyoto I definitely recommend staying at Ben's. Thank you so much for a lovely experience!!!

Very cheap for such a high quality hotel. Has all the comforts. We got sick during our stay and the many tissue boxes that were provided was great. Our only complaint was the dryer wasnt the best as it didnt fully dry out all the clothes even when putting it overnight.
