Quite a distance from the train station. Nice decor and nice amenities and facility in the hotel.

It's very unique. It's a hotel with a quaint atmosphere in Kyoto. I want tatami Japanese style! There is a hot spring room in the underground room. You need to book a room in advance. Unfortunately, there is no independent hot spring in the room. You can order breakfast temporarily and go to the restaurant at the appointed time. The Japanese breakfast is delicious.

Some distance from the subway. The hotel is average, we booked a suite. For some reason, I still had to pay 400 yen consumption tax per person when I arrived at the hotel. My husband paid cash without asking while I was away from the hotel. By the way, the noodle restaurants lined up near the hotel are not recommended.

What a great Japanese-style hotel, very good location, clean and tidy. The only drawback is that the quilt is a little short, and tall people may have their feet sticking out, so you can use a coat to cover it.

The accommodation is very clean. About 15 minutes walk from the nearest station. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Gion Street. When I made a reservation to enjoy a private hot spring, I requested it via personal message, but they said I couldn't do it unless I visited and made a reservation. If you come for 2 days and 1 night, you cannot go to the hot springs. It takes 3 nights and 4 days, so I'm not sure if I should do it on the last day. Lots of Koreans

The interior and surrounding environment of the hotel are good, but the rooms are relatively small and the facilities are very simple. There are no USB sockets and Japanese-style tatami hotels. Friends who are not used to staying in Japanese-style tatami hotels should choose carefully.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was quite an enriching experience having to sleep on a Japanese style bed. Initially we were stunned by the mattresses and set up as we forgot that we booked the Japanese beds, but it exceeded our expectations as we slept pretty well on it. The blanket was HEAVENLY & FLUFFY - an absolute joy. Definitely a thing I missed when I returned home. The toilets were decent and the showerhead water flow was good. Service wise - the rooms were cleaned daily and they did help keep the mattresses during the day. We also paid to have a 40mins private onsen experience for about 500 yen. Pretty alright, esp if you would enjoy some privacy. Do reserve beforehand with the front desk. Additionally, the staff were able to converse in many languages & were always very helpful! :) Location wise - it's pretty convenient & accessible. We were surrounded by lots of cafes & shops that we can explore just by walking around the neighbourhood. Many temples & tourist spots were within walking distance too. The only irk we had was the noise and soundproofing as we could hear people outside & whenever they walked around or by the stairs. Sometimes, the roadside can be noisy too.. so it did affect our sleep sometimes. But regardless of that, it's a pretty decent spot to crash when you're in Kyoto! Do give them a try!
