A lovely Inn in the Japanese style. The old historic building is charming. It is a attached to a newer building with elevator, etc. Small, service was friendly. The meals were elegant and service at mealtime was exceptional Kyoto style. Great location for exploring on foot the east side of the city, inlcuding a long, enjoyable walk to Kiyomizu-dera.

Overall the hotel is good. The distance is close and the facilities are OK. Even the smoking room is very bad for non-smoking customers. The smell of smoke is too strong. It is recommended that the smell is in place.

Bellissima esperienza. Il personale gentilissimo, disponibile e sempre col sorriso. Camera ampia e pulita. La colazione curatissima e c'è anche un piccolo insen. Insomma xi tirnerei.
