You must must stay here when you visit Kyoto! Because of the price my expectations were pretty low but wow was I blown away. Super clean, spacious rooms with suitcase storage under your bed. Nice big bathroom with space between the toilet and shower. Hostel amenities are amazing. There’s a laundry room with available washer and dryer for 200 yen. (Although I would wash your clothes twice because the detergent isn’t strong) lots of lovely common spaces available as well and overall a good vibe! Staff is very helpful and friendly and speak perfect English , and the hostel is right by the street market and lots of fun bars, pubs and restaurants.

Incredble place 🥰🥰 I would 100% recommend staying. Everything is super clean, the spaces are modern and the kitchen has all the amenities you can wish for. Different ways to bree your coffee, even an ai l fryer and juice

Nice place. Great locations. Easily accessible to various famous tourist spots in Kyoto within walking distance. Rooms are cozy & clean with all amenities provided. However, the services of receptionists was fair, much below the standards the last time I stayed here.

Clean and stylish Hostel

For the past 17 years, I have stayed at Piece’s Kyoto Station store in Kyoto. Now it seems that it no longer cooperates with Ctrip. The only store I have found is this Sanjo store... Location: It’s about a 10-minute walk from the subway station Karasuma Line or Kawaramachi Shijo Station, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Nishiki Market, a 10-minute walk from the Shinkyogoku/Shijo Street business district, and a 25-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine. It will pass through the Kamogawa River and Hanama Path; it will take about 30 minutes to walk to Kiyomizudera Temple, and pass by Yasaka Tower, Sansanzaka, Sanshinzaka... It is very convenient to go to major attractions. Room: We live in a mixed room for 10 people. The space is very large and the bed is quite big. It should be 1.2 meters. We provide 1 towel + bath towel + disposable slippers; each bed in the room is provided with a small cabinet with a password lock. , for putting money and other important valuables. Public spaces: Bathrooms and shower rooms are divided into public and women-only ones; shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided, and they are from Pola; there are paid self-service washing machines/dryers; the kitchen provides microwaves, coffee machines, kettles, etc. All are free to use; the leisure area is very spacious, with sofas, tea seats, etc. suitable for being alone or with friends... There is also a small bar... Storage: Check-in time is 4 p.m., if you arrive early, you can store your luggage at the front desk and go shopping first; check-out time is before 11 a.m., and you can also store it in the West Building after leaving. The password lock is also easy to operate, and it is free until 8 p.m. ~ The front desk English is very good, and it is said that there are colleagues who can speak Chinese, but you may not encounter them during shifts... The piece Sanjo store left a very good impression on me. There were a lot of people in the public area at night. There were two or three people chatting, some using computers or mobile phones alone, and many people playing games together... The atmosphere of cultural exchange is great... I will continue to stay there in the future. here.

Heading north on Tominokoji-dori, there were so few landmarks that you would easily pass the building unless there was a group of what appeared to be tourists around it, so I thought maybe even a small sign would be nice. The exterior of the west building in particular is inorganic. Both the exterior and interior were clean and simple, and I found it very relaxing.

The surroundings of the hotel are very beautiful and have a Japanese street flavor. I like it very much. The only thing that will deduct a few points is that transportation is not very convenient, and it will be more troublesome if you carry a large suitcase.
