Nice little hotel in a convenient location for Gion and the sights nearby, within easy walking distance of both metro and bus stops. We used the bus to get back from Kinkaku-ji to the hotel and it stops a 3 minute walk away, The room was small, as is to be expected for a family room, but was clean and comfortable with a toilet separate from the main bathroom. It was very quiet, and had aircon so the temperature was comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English. We only stayed here for one night, and it was ideal for a 2 day Kyoto tourism trip.

Perfect location in Gion and easy to walk around. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We love the coach setting!

I stayed here to go to a live performance.
On the day of my stay, even though it was before check-in time (around 9 a.m.), I was able to store my luggage and complete the check-in procedures (provided I did not enter the room before 3 p.m.).
After that, I was able to do some sightseeing and enjoy some live music.
The room was spacious enough for two people.
I also thought that the fact that the toilet and bath were separate was a very good point.
The next day, we were able to keep our luggage with us even after we checked out, so we were able to travel around Kyoto with ease, which was very helpful.
Yasaka Shrine is nearby, so I thought it was a good location for sightseeing.
However, surrounding parking lots are a bit expensive, so I thought it would be best to have a dedicated parking lot. (This may be difficult since the location is so good.)

Just a few minutes walk to the restaurants and about 15 minutes to the old town Kyoto. It has basic amenities but has clean room, and of course, small, Japanese standard. It’s quick cab ride from the train station. There is a 24 hr store a block away if you need anything including some hot food. I don’t mind staying here again.
