The hotel is very clean and quiet. The train station is close to JR Tambaguchi station but far away from Kiyomizu Gojo station. However, public bus station is nearby within 5 mins walk. You can still take the public bus back to Gion area. Not much choices of food... suggest to go back to Kawaramachi for more selection of restaurants. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to traveller like quiet and peaceful.

It is about a 3-minute walk from JR Tamba Station, which is very convenient. If you are going to Arashiyama, Nijo Castle, or Kinkakuji, you can stay here. It is convenient for buses and JR.
The front desk can communicate in English. Toiletries need to be taken by yourself. Free coffee and matcha latte are available from 16:00 to 22:00 in the afternoon.
The downside is that the room is relatively small, and a 20-inch suitcase can barely fit.

Very good. There is an onsen as well. Just connect the train from JR Kyoto for 2 stops. Get a very good price during the sakura season. Very good. There is water, green tea, cold/hot coffee to drink at night as well.
