A Japanese-style machiya located in Kita Ward, you can walk to Daitokuji Temple and is also close to Kinkakuji Temple. There is a shared kitchen, living room, shower (single room), etc. There are many cups, tea and coffee, and there is a huge hand-painted map on the wall of the living room. It is very beautiful, clean and full of life.
The shop owner was very enthusiastic and explained the map to me seriously. If you have any questions, you can ring the doorbell and call the shop owner, hahahahaha.
The room I live in is upstairs. The door is two doors that can be opened and locked.

Simple, but thought through, clean and quiet - but above all with the kindest and most helpful of hosts! This place can be recommended also to people of my (parental generation) age! We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will come back soon. Also, the area of Kyoto is rich in beautiful sites and much more quiet than the other side. Thanks!

It was my first time staying at a guesthouse and I was a little nervous, but the host was warm and attentive and made me feel very comfortable. Although it was a cold season, the futon was warm and I slept soundly. The public bath that I was told about that was just a short walk away was also very pleasant. The interior was stylish and well-cleaned. I was able to consult with them about sightseeing and was able to go to all the places I wanted to go and do all the things I wanted to do in a limited amount of time, which made me very happy. I would definitely use it again.
