Stay Sakura Kyoto Kiyomizu Gojo Reviews

The room was a bit small, but it had everything you needed, including a washing machine and microwave. Plus, I even met a Chinese lady at the front desk! You can walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, and Yasaka Shrine through the alley across the street, and Hanamikoji Street is also nearby. There's a bus stop right outside the door too. It's a truly great hotel. And as for cleanliness, well, Japanese hotels are always excellent, so no need to even mention it.

I only had a day and a half in Kyoto, specifically the latter half of the first day and the first half of the second. My itinerary only included Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Shrine, and the surrounding areas. This hotel's location was excellent – there's a convenience store right across the street. Walking to Kiyomizu-dera at 6 AM when there were no crowds, a mere 10-15 minute stroll, was truly enjoyable. Furthermore, the room was spacious enough, and it even had laundry facilities and basic kitchenware. The value for money is superb, making it a highly recommended stay for anyone planning to visit the Kiyomizu-dera area.

It was our first time in Kyoto, and we were very lucky to stay at a hotel like this. It had a washing machine, was within walking distance of Gion, and the room was spacious. The room had everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The nearest subway station was about a 15-minute walk away, if that’s important to you. The photos show some of the places that are within a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Nice place, good location, very near with Kiyomizu temple just. We enjoy with cooking.there have 7-11, Fammily and Fresco that can buy fresh food for cooking with our dinner. We walk to Gion , Kamo revier , Nishiki Market, Daimaru and come back by bus206 is very convenience choice. We walk to buy Green tea (Gokago) , Mochi Mochi, tea cup at walk way to Kiyomizu Dera. The 4th floor is good view that can see Kiyomisu dera. We recommend 403 number room for this view. A little noise of car coz of near street. But we enjoy and tried that is not problem for sleeping. That is considered a fair price for this place

Location is amazing! Though a bit far from the metro station, there is a bus stop nearby. Good value for money! Stylish room with mini-kitchen, washing machine with detergent, cleaning service. Enjoyed our stay!

The best hotel in our trip! Room size is decent, Best Japanese bathroom, and a kitchen! This is 2-3 times more worth from the price. Stay for 2 nights and we love the hotel so much. Walking distance to Kiyomizu area, enjoying morning and night walk for less crowd. Far from train stations, located between 2 bus stations.

I arrived at the hotel about 2-3 hours before check-in but my room was ready so they let me check in early. Nice and clean, i loved having a tub, I took a bath every night. Had no trouble otherwise, I was mainly out during the day. I was able to walk to the Kiyumizu-dera and kawaramachi shijo with relative ease. I even walked there from Kyoto station, although it was a long walk. If you want to look around you can walk to most places from the hotel and there’s a convenience store right across the street. Great place to stay.

Completely exceeded my expectations! The shower room gets top marks – it was incredibly warm, and I even had a TV to watch while soaking in the tub. It's also within walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple. In the morning, I had breakfast outside and then went straight to explore Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka near Kiyomizu-dera; it was wonderful with fewer crowds.

There was a bump on the sofa bed, which made it uncomfortable for my child to sleep on. Everything else was fine! I hope there's a water dispenser available.

Everything was pretty good. The heater took a little while to warm up but once it did, it was very cozy. There's a small balcony, and amenities like a washing machine and kitchen, complete with laundry detergent pods and dish soap. The luggage delivery service was excellent. The service center is near Kyoto Station, and if you drop off your luggage before 4 PM, they'll deliver it to your hotel room for free. It would be even better if they offered a similar service for check-out, sending luggage back to the service center. Traveling solo with a suitcase is really inconvenient, especially since you can't take luggage on buses in Kyoto. There's also a pretty good ramen shop nearby.

The space is very big, the room is clean, and you can even cook. Highly recommended.

Nice location

Kyoto is amazing, and the room comes with a washing machine, an induction hob, various utensils, a fridge, and even a bathtub! The best part is the incredible value for money.
