Fantastic location…far enough away from the noise but walking distance to everything you could want to do!! Also the room itself was amazing. Wonderful amenities!! Definitely the best place we stayed on our entire 18 day vacation! Would highly recommend.

A lovely hotel facing the stadium. Has 3 stations to access the rest of Tokyo that are 5 minutes walking distance including a Metro station line which is at the hotel front door. The staff is very helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. The hotel is well maintained. Very clean. The room is lovely but a bit small. Very comfortable. Like most places in Japan has a Toto bathroom with washer. Only negative would not bother with the breakfast as there are many other better options including in the hotel where you can buy fresh croissant or cake and coffee. If I visit Japan again will surely stay there.

Nous avons apprécié Le cadre, la gentillesse et la serviabilité du personnel le confort et le calme. La machine à laver dans la chambre très pratique et silencieuse. Kyoto est une ville formidable, à la fois moderne et authentique. Ambiance moins speed que dans les autres villes du Japon. Du coup nous avons changé notre programme pour y retourner 2 jours de +. Au Mastay hôtel bien sûr !

Beautiful facility and amazing staff. The hotel is super well organized and almost autonomous in how it runs, everything is perfectly planned and executed, and whenever you need the staff, which is hardly ever because everything is well taken care of, they are just amazing. Rooms open to a numerical code and so does the main hotel gate late at night, the place is high tech in everything yet very personal and cozy. The room is equipped with everything you need up to a washing machine, and everything is in perfect condition and super clean and comfortable.

京都への観光に行く際に泊まらせて頂きました。 近くに平安神宮や四条河原町があるので京都観光には抜群の立地だと思いました。 また、清掃が行き届いており広々とした間取りで観光疲れを癒すことが出来ました。 キッチンも付いており、長期滞在する際にも良いなと思いました。また機会があれば泊まります。

I stayed in a room that had a sofa with an ottoman. The room itself is spacious and convenient for long-term stays or sightseeing, so it's great! ! There is a parking lot for 3 cars, so you can come by car. High quality apartment hotel with modern facilities. Stay long and explore the deep Japannese culture. The location is quiet area, suitable for the traveller who do not prefer the commercial lively downtown area. You can enjoy the standard Japanese living. Addditionally, 24 hours convenience store is next to the hotel, which also the benefit. Heian Jingu, Kyoto Museum and Nanzenji are walking distance.

Love love love this place. It’s all in the details and Mastay is big on the detail - from the usb charging ports beside the bed to the microwave, fridge and washing machine .. the bike rental behind the hotel .. the code to get in the door rather than worrying about keys - all details added together made for a fabulous stay. Then to top it all off we left our camera behind by mistake and the kind staff looked after it for us for a few days until we were able to return to pick it up. The beds were super comfortable. The room was quiet. Location was fabulous as Higashiyama Is gorgeous and hotel is close to the subway for all other areas of Kyoto. Highly recommend this beautiful accommodation when staying in Kyoto.
