This hotel is very suitable for traveling with children. Children especially like tatami. There is enough space for them to lie down or sit and play for a while after returning to the hotel. The tatami room I booked was not big, and the suitcase could only be placed at the door. Hotels in Japan are not big. The tatami was very comfortable to sleep on, and the hotel service was also good. The lobby on the first floor provided bathing supplies, toner and moisturizer, but there was no toothpaste and toothbrush, so you need to bring your own or buy them at the supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel is in a good location, near the commercial center, very close to Takashimaya Department Store, and can be reached on foot. It is within 30 minutes to walk to attractions such as Kiyomizu Temple, Yasaka Shrine, and Hanami-koji.

It is a super clean hotel. The tatami is very comfortable to sleep on. The shower water is very big and the bathroom is big enough. You can walk everywhere around. Sit by the Kamo River and have a beef hot pot and kaiseki meal. This is how life should be. I will stay here again next time I come to Kyoto. It is more than 300 RMB. This is a great value for money!

I brought my parents with me on a family trip and the three of us stayed for one night! There was a convenience store and a supermarket nearby, so the location was great to go buy something to eat after checking in. The hotel lobby staff were also friendly. Most hotels in Japan are small, so I lowered my expectations and went there. There were 3 single mats and I think about 4 adult men could lie down on them. Next to the mat, there was a desk and a small foldable desk. There was also an electric pot and a refrigerator, but the refrigerator was so small that I couldn't put much in it. There were also tissues, a hair dryer, and an air conditioner and clothes hanger! And what I thought was really clean and nice was the toilet and shower room. The toilet and shower room were separated. The toilet in the bathroom had a bidet and there was a mini sink next to it. The shower room was also clean and spacious. There were three charger outlets, one next to the bathroom and one at each corner of the room. I don't think you'll have to worry about charging even if multiple people come. It was a really satisfying hotel. I stayed there for a day. I think I'll stay here again the next time I travel to Kyoto!
