Booked the Round bathtub room. Room was well designed & had a great time soaking in the Hiba wood bathtub. Enjoyed the pretty water light reflection on the ceiling while soaking the stress away. Really loved the woody scent of their shampoo/body wash that I bought a bottle home with me! Really enjoyed the traditional atmosphere & machiya front desk of the hotel as well. The 5-7mins walk (almost 2-3 street intersections) to the nearest metro station (Karasuma Oike) was worth it to make it to this beautiful hotel. Will be coming back to stay again!

The location is very good, with good food and good shopping around. It is also very safe. It is convenient to take the subway, bus, and taxi to all the attractions. The staff are very polite and greet everyone they see. Check-in was also very smooth. The room is very comfortable and large. It is very relaxing to take a bath after a day of walking. The sake downstairs is delicious and the snacks are delicious. I will come here again next time I visit Kyoto.

It has a washer-dryer, microwave, induction cooker, large sink, and complete tableware. It is a very convenient hotel. I didn't book a room with breakfast included. I went to see the breakfast place and it was quite simple. I like luxurious breakfasts, but this place can't satisfy me. However, with the above small appliances, I can go to the supermarket to buy some sandwiches and rice balls at night and heat them up in the morning. It is very convenient. I like to sleep a little longer in the morning and don't have too many requirements for breakfast. I am very satisfied~ The service is good, the wooden bathtub is very clean, and the child has a separate bed. Good~

I don't think it's worth it. The room is good. A bit expensive. The staff is a bit cold compared to other hotels I stayed in during this trip.

Domestic three-star standard. The pillows were stuffed with plastic, the quilt was very hard, and the wooden bathtub was moldy and black, so I didn't dare to take a bath. The waiter had a cold face, and there was a female receptionist with a watermelon head. When I met her in the corridor, she ignored me coldly. She didn't even say hello to the customers, and even rushed into the elevator before the customers. It was so rude and disqualified. I stayed in many hotels in Japan, and this was the first time I encountered such a thing. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but provides free sake. Are all the guests here drunkards? If you don't drink and value the service experience, stay away from this hotel. I strongly don't recommend it.

The room is big, but the bedding is really rough. I don't know what kind of coarse cloth it is. There is a hole in the bed sheet. Fortunately, I brought my own bed sheet to spread. The environment is actually dark all day long, with a tree in the middle courtyard. The service attitude is really average. I had a fever at night, but I didn't find any antipyretics or antipyretic patches at the front desk. I was just standing there. I asked what to do, but they said they didn't have any. In the end, I asked them to give me some ice cubes and I could cool myself down physically. I still had a fever the next day. The front desk girl on duty was much better. Although she said she didn't have any, after my attitude of almost losing my temper, she said she could buy some for me. I gave a tip to express my gratitude, but I refused. There was no meal when I wanted to order lunch. I wanted to order a bowl, but they said no. What the hell is this? The hotel does not provide food and beverage. The front desk girl who checked out had a very bad attitude. She was very impatient when I asked for a bottle of water. I hadn't left the hotel yet, but she only had a bottle of water. She was so stingy that she put it between my toes... Although the hotel's door design looks interesting, the overall design is just a domestic fast hotel with a dark design style. I will not choose it again.
