We stayed at the penthouse and it is really roomy. Family of four can stay very comfortably. There is a sectional sofa and big dining table. We got some bread from near by local bakery or convince store and had easy breakfasts. There is no kitchen but coffee maker/electric kettle and good size fridge. You can probably ask at reception if you want to use microwave.
All appliances are good brand and in good condition. Bathroom is also roomy and clean with shower and bathtub. Toilet is separated so good for giving privacy while other takes shower.
Many restaurants within 5-10min.
Staff are so nice and friendly as well. They provided us useful information at check-in including locations of coin laundries which are also clean and in safe location within 5 min walk. (They are automatic wash and dry including detergent and softener.. 1hour for 16L load.). All units seems to individual apar**ent. We are very happy with the stay and will come back.

Very helpful and happy people working there, showing things in details, and a woman even offering me her privat train ticket for me to travel to Kyoto, what a kind and nice lady! The rooms are beautiful, big showers and even use the same tiles I just renovated my own place with at home in Norway. So very modern rooms and I would defiantly stay here again and recommend it to others. Just very comfortable in every way.

This hotel is off a laneway in a quiet part of Kyoto (western side of the river), It’s quite news and has high quality fittings but no tv. I had such a good sleep here! There are restaurants and a bathhouse not far away. Also a coin laundry and bike rental shop. I’d stay here again.

A very simple but attractive hotel in a great area. No bathtub in the room I was in but a nice rain shower head. Modern Japanese style.

Stayed one night with 4 friends.
The room was ready even though it was in the morning, so I was able to take a rest in the room before heading out.
I felt like I was using a room in a designer's apar**ent, and I was able to relax with my friends in a private way.
The shower was comfortable to use, and the pajamas and bedding were comfortable and I was able to sleep well.
