The room is a bit small but it is OK in Japan. The location of the hotel is great. Accommodation, dining and shopping can be done within 20 minutes on foot. You must stay in Shijo when you come to Kyoto. The Japanese breakfast in the hotel is good and worth trying. If you don't order the hotel breakfast, it is also convenient to shop around.
