Room is indeed clean.. very spacious… love the location and will book again

Big room. Clean. Polite and helpful staff. Breakfast good especially the Japanese one. Would be better if more attention to recycling and environment, and cut down use of one off accessories.

As always, I am impressed by the small details. I send my suitcase in advance when I leave, but when I check in, they have delivered it to my room, removed the suitcase cover, and folded it neatly. When I return to the hotel after going out to get my key back, I am greeted with a warm smile. The breakfast buffet is very substantial. I always use this hotel when I visit Kyoto.

It has been 9 years and the hotel is still well maintained. Compared with the Okura Hotel in Kyoto (also part of the JAL Group), the food and room facilities are not inferior. The location is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, a little far from the subway, and a taxi ride from the business district and JR is no more than 1,200 yen. There is a family restaurant for three people at the door. The sea bream and beef are both great.

Overall it's pretty good, in terms of hygiene, environment and facilities. The Japanese breakfast is fixed, and children aged six or seven are the same price as adults, which doesn't seem worth more than 100 yuan. The first floor is a Western breakfast, and there are many people there, especially European and American people. Children can get half the price, and it's self-service. I would recommend it again.

It's rare to be able to stay in a hotel with a large space in Japan. Although the hotel is a little old, it doesn't feel old. If I go to Kyoto next time, I will stay here again

Although the hotel is old, it is very clean and the service attitude is very good. There is a translator at the front desk, so there is no need to worry about communication problems.

The room is relatively large. It is close to the Sijo shopping district. The subway is convenient. It is quiet in a busy area. The hotel feels a bit historical. The facilities are running well.

This hotel is really big, with big windows, very bright, and well-maintained furniture! The downside is that we were given two last rooms, but we could see Kiyomizu Temple and the mountain from the room, and the view of autumn maple leaves would be very good! Another point is that the people next door were Indians, and they were very noisy. I complained to the front desk directly. I don't know if the front desk deliberately put Chinese and Indians together, and other European and American tourists were arranged with Japanese!
