Big room. Clean. Polite and helpful staff. Breakfast good especially the Japanese one. Would be better if more attention to recycling and environment, and cut down use of one off accessories.

Excellent stay and very cooperative staff

Faultless!

It has been 9 years and the hotel is still well maintained. Compared with the Okura Hotel in Kyoto (also part of the JAL Group), the food and room facilities are not inferior. The location is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, a little far from the subway, and a taxi ride from the business district and JR is no more than 1,200 yen. There is a family restaurant for three people at the door. The sea bream and beef are both great.

A bit old, but the room is big. Not bad, breakfast is rich too

The room is relatively large. It is close to the Sijo shopping district. The subway is convenient. It is quiet in a busy area. The hotel feels a bit historical. The facilities are running well.

This hotel is really big, with big windows, very bright, and well-maintained furniture! The downside is that we were given two last rooms, but we could see Kiyomizu Temple and the mountain from the room, and the view of autumn maple leaves would be very good! Another point is that the people next door were Indians, and they were very noisy. I complained to the front desk directly. I don't know if the front desk deliberately put Chinese and Indians together, and other European and American tourists were arranged with Japanese!

The breakfast buffet was not as satisfying as it was a few years ago, which was disappointing.

The hotel service is very good. When three people check in, they even have extra capsules for three people. Parking is very convenient. The parking lot is large, but it is a bit inconvenient to change the card every time. The room is very clean and the bathroom is very comfortable.

Staff are polite and attentive. It rained heavily in the evening on the day of check-in. When we arrived, the staff helped hand us towels and help dry our suitcases, which was very comforting👍

It was better than I expected. Although the facilities are not new, they are well-maintained and well-cleaned, and the accessories are up-to-date, and the interior of the building and rooms, including the elevator, feels dignified. The view from the window was nice and it was our anniversary, so we were able to find an east facing location, and we were able to see the sunrise.

Facilities: The Shijo and Karasuma neighborhoods where the hotel is located are very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the most famous Kawaramachi. The hotel service is good, but the variety of breakfast is obviously less than other Nikko Ito hotels.

The entrance staff and reception staff were very kind and courteous. There were plenty of amenities, and the water and coffee were delicious. There were books on tourist attractions in Kyoto in the room, which were very helpful. thank you very much.

The same quality as before, room details, bedding, and service are very considerate and satisfactory. Take a quiet location in the middle of the bustle, it is very convenient to eat and travel. Next to it is the Foguang Temple, shining peacefully.
