I think it is a good price for this location in Kyoto, but I expected to have a bathroom inside my room, as shown in the photo.
But the toilet was public after all.
There is a public sento around the corner.
Nothing specific I would say. I've seen much better ryokans/hotels in Japan for a lower price.
Still, it's good for 1-2 nights.

Convenient and close to the subway station.
Higashi Honganji Temple is nearby.
Just a short walk will take you to the lively places around Kyoto Station.
I thought it was a very nice place.
I stayed for 3 nights in a quiet Japanese-style room that felt like an annex.
I was able to spend my time calmly.
The staff's response was also polite and positive.
He didn't answer the phone very often (lol)
If I come to Kyoto again, I would like to use it again. thank you very much!
The photo shows the alley from the station to the rest house.
(Walking down the alley was so much fun!)
Higashi Honganji Temple and Kyoto Tower can be seen along the way.

Love this place! It’s a traditional tatami! And the location is also good!
Except the sound insulation is not very good, I like it very much!

Japanese style room was okay! It is located on a quiet residential area about 15 min walk from Kyoto central station. The reception was at a different place (next street) - you need to goto this place for checkin formalities. This was mentioned in the instructions email, nevertheless it was not convenient. Bathroom taps were old and not that handy. To get the desired temperature of hot+cold water, some amount of maneuvering is needed!

This is an inn located in the middle of an ordinary cityscape in Kyoto. There was a public bath next door. There are multiple buildings under the same management, and the front desk is a 1-2 minute walk away, so breakfast is served there as well. The room is quite simple. The steamed steamed basket for breakfast was unique and delicious, and seemed to be something that even foreign guests would enjoy.
