Japanese style, warm service, snacks, cup noodles and fruits are constantly fed. There are also Kabuki performances. It is very close to Kiyomizu Temple and Yasaka Shrine, and it is quiet in the bustling. There are also three dogs who warmly welcome

I am really grateful for the care of Grandpa Sano and his family. I have lived very comfortably these few days. They gave us free fruits and various snacks, bread and drinks every day. The scenes of Japanese dramas are vivid. Every day when I go out, they always send me to the door and remind me to go on. When I come back, they always respond with a warm smile with two dogs, saying "I'm back". It's really touching. Before leaving, I gave Grandpa Sano a panda pendant bought from Hongshan. They were immediately very happy and put it at the entrance. We agreed to come again next time

The location is very good. The landlord is very polite. The most important thing is that you can pet the golden retriever for free

Very Good

Located in the Higashiyama area, it is within walking distance to Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, Ninnizaka Sannzaka Kodaiji Temple, Hanamikoji, Maruyama Park, and Chion-in Temple. The floors also provide free snacks and small cups of instant noodles. Most of the service staff seem to be over 70 with attitudes. Very polite and greeted with a smile when entering and exiting.

There is no meal, the host is quite kind, there is a small elevator
A very nice homestay, the owner and the proprietress are very friendly, the room is very clean, the surrounding environment is also very good, and the transportation is convenient. They have a golden retriever and a Labrador, they are very docile and cute!

A very interesting ryokan, although the price is slightly expensive, but it is very comfortable and satisfying to live in
Hotel features:
1 Pure Japanese-style room, the space is enough, the small Japanese-style courtyard is also very chic, air-conditioned hot water TV, free snacks instant noodles, and fruits (melon and banana) twice a day
2 The most important thing is that there is a Japanese dance* performance every Saturday night, invited by the boss, and interacting with geisha to play games, and in the end many people left, and were invited to sing karaoke together , with friends from all over the world, the experience is very good!
The president is very interesting. He was invited to perform Japanese songs. The service staff are also very good. I highly recommend coming here!

In the garden. Traditional Japanese inn. On weekends, the boss also arranges kabuki performances in the evening. This is my second time staying here.

During my last two days in Kyoto, I wanted to experience a Japanese-style B&B, so I chose this place. The location here is very good. You can go shopping and eat right away. It is close to Kodaiji Temple and Kiyomizudera Temple. The boss is very enthusiastic and prepares fruits and pastries for us every night when we go back. I love the two dogs in the store. All in all, very nice.

The Ryokan was affordable and in a fantastic location. They had a Geisha show one of the nights we were there included in the price. No extra charge and it was amazing. A highlight of our trip. Very authentic family run business with cute dogs and lovely friendly atmosphere. I do a lot of research when I travel, stop looking and book this one. Thank you to the wonderful hosts!

The Gion Sano is located at a top notch location. You are within walking distance to Hanamiyoji, Kiyomizu Dera, Yasaka Shrine and all the offerings that Gion has to offer. The host is friendly and helpful from the moment we entered, even offering to wash our clothes without additional charge. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and well equipped to handle all our needs. One downside is that this ryokan does not have an in-house onsen. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this charming and friendly place.
