This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby.
We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day.

It's natural that the buildings and fixtures of long-established stores are old, and I respect the fact that they have made appropriate changes to these old buildings to make them comfortable even with modern sensibilities.
The hostess, the young hostess, the waitress, and everyone's service was very pleasant.
I was very satisfied with the impression that no effort was spared in preparing both dinner and breakfast.
This is an inn I would like to visit again.

This felt like a very authentic and traditional Kyoto experience, a bit outside of central Kyoto but well worth the journey. The entire staff was extremely kind even with the language barrier everything was clear. Beautiful dinner & breakfast service as well. Nice place to relax and enjoy. Infinite gratitude to the staff for a very warm welcome, I’ll be back!
