Facilities: Basically everything is there. There is a bar and a resting place. It is quite clean. There is a free drink and you can sit at the bar. The overall feeling is pretty good.

Extra large room, high cost performance, good location, convenient for traveling.

After a few years, I chose this moxy in Kyoto. I really recommend it! The front desk connected to the bar is very innovative, and the lobby lounge area is also very large, full of youthful and energetic atmosphere. The double room I stayed in is not too small in Japan. You can spread out two suitcases. The toilet and bedding are very clean. The water pressure of the shower is very good, and the bath is super cool! It is very convenient to go out across the road from the station. In the evening, there are several suppers and convenience stores nearby.

The price/performance ratio is okay, the hotel is relatively new, and the lobby has a large leisure area

The conscientiousness of service staff needs to be improved

As a new visual spot in the city, I was able to enjoy the attractive design that seems to draw in the liveliness of the younger generation. 🍁🥂😉

The many pole-like things on the wall were quite useful for hanging towels in use. It might be revolutionary. A modern pop hotel.

Moxy Kyoto Nijo surpassed our expectations. The room, though small, was very convenient and peaceful. Breakfast was adequate, and the lounge was inviting. Like other Moxys, the facilities for washing clothes were good. The restaurant offered some very good dishes. Nijo Station nearby provides an easy way for transfer.

cool place. located across the nijo train station giving one access to most of kyoto's attractions. regular train to kyoto station. quiet neighborhood although the food choices in the area are not that great. the hotel was clean, functional, efficiently staffed. the bar in the lobby is friendly and reasonably priced. occasional live music as well as DJ's make it popular even with local people. a good choice when staying in kyoto.

This hotel is clean and safe and is located within walking distance of train and subways and restaurants. However as others have noted, do not expect any perks for status and if you choose the food and beverage credit, it expires at noon- meaning it’s basically good only for breakfast which is more than $10. Not impressed with this unusual time limitation on a perk.

Cool and trendy hotel within easy reach of Nijo train station (and therefore just a couple of stops from Kyoto main station. Part of the Marriott Bonvoy group. Nice, quiet rooms, though no storage, just hangers on the wall. Nice bar (24 hours!), self service laundry and gym. Pretty decent food, though we preferred nearby Cafe Seberg for breakfast. Nijo En restaurant around the corner is a great choice for dinner, though it’s small so get hotel to book for you (and give directions, it’s close but not marked in English).

No receipt at reception and did not get the email invoice. Also paid for breakfast but had to leave early but was not allowed to enjoy it very briefly. Lack of flexibility.
