Very nice and comfortable, everything is walking distance (Kyoto Station, convenience stores and restaurants!)

Hotel is just opposite the Kyoto station which has Isetan and museum, and is linked to Porta Underground shopping mall - basement gourmet heaven! Very friendly staff and room is bigger than New Hankyu Osaka. Will stay again if I’m going to Kyoto.

Convenient location, decent room size (in Japan), reasonable price

Location was very convenient to the JR Kyoto Railway as you can take trains to Osaka.

This is a very good and convenient hotel. There are shops for shopping, conveience stores, bakeries, restaurants nearby in the underground arcades. The Kyoto station is just 5-10mins walking. Clean and tidy room. Price is fairly reasonable.

Came back and stayed for a second time within 5 weeks coz we loved the location, though it needs more amenities to be considered a true 4 star, like an onsen, sauna or indoor pool. The location is unbeatable though as it's located right next to Kyoto Tower and across the road from Kyoto station and within 2 mins walk from all the dining options.

Excellent location. Kyoto station is right in front. Room is pretty small and there’s only housekeeping after 3 days of stay as they are practicing eco green environment.

Very nice hotel that is right beside the Kyoto main station. We stayed in the Japanese room which was very modern and well furnished. There is no shortage of dining options both inside and surrounding the hotel. Only shortcoming is for some odd reason they don't provide coffee or ceylon tea in the room.

The front desk lady was a little rude hence left a very bad impression when we checked-in. However the housekeeping staff are all very friendly and always smiling!

In general the hotel is Quite old. Need updating and revamp. No in-room safe is quite inconvenient

Location is great for travellers. But there's no escalator or lift leading up from the underground station to hotel. Need to carry the luggage up.

Excellent location, very close to the Kyoto station and Bus stop. Made a mistake of choosing eco plan, which means room will be cleaned once in 4 days or about. Additional cleaning requests are available at 2000 yen. The rooms are super small, kinda normal by japanese standards. Overall good experience, helpful and friendly staff.

Stayed for 2 nights, 20 to 21 Nov. Was cold during this period and was told the hotel doesn't have aircon during cold period. We off the heater and opened the window slightly to keep the room ventilated and cooling. This is the only con in my opinion. Otherwise the service, location is fantastic. There's an exit direct to Porta and link to the Kyoto station. The place feels like a maze so takes awhile to navigate. Otherwise just cross 1 traffic light to walk to the kyoto station. The hotel has ice machine and all the amenities are at the lobby, grab them before going to your hotel. The view from the hotel was great, price point was great as well. Thank you Trip for the amazing stay and experience.

The hotel has such a perfect location next to Kyoto main train station and bus station. Super convinient. The room is big and clean. There are convinient stores near by and coffee shops.
