I really liked the fact that there was no need to communicate with the front desk, that the bathroom and toilet were separate, and that the Japanese-style room was attached so that I could relax. The only disappoin**ent was that it didn't work at all even with the heating set to the highest setting, and it was cold in the morning and evening, and there was no switch to turn off the motion sensor in the kitchen, so every time I tossed and turned in bed, the electricity would crackle on my own and I couldn't sleep. This is the point. It was a nice hotel without this, so I would like to use it again ^ ^

I used it for my friend's birthday party.
A combined facility of Japanese-style and Western-style rooms. I really enjoyed it! It was nice to have a kitchen so I could cook. There was a kitchen at the entrance that was larger than the room, so if you want to cook in earnest, that might be better.
I just wished the refrigerator was a little bigger because it didn't fit 1 whole cake.

The hotel is well located right by Kyoto station, Rooms are nice if a little compact. As the hotel name suggest, the reception is stunning. The concierge was helpful prior to my trip but during my stay the concierge desk was frustrating not available in the early morning and evenings which is odd as during the summer months you’d expect guests to be out early sightseeing to beat the hot sun.

Great hotel in a convenient location. Very well designed with excellent facilities. Simple check in and check in and check out. A bit more attention to room cleaning would make it perfect. Blinds etc need to be dust free.
