The room is a typical Japanese tatami room, just as imagined. It is relatively exquisite. Although it is not big, I don't feel cramped when I live there. When checking in, the staff provided some welcome refreshments, patiently explained to us the use of public areas, breakfast times and other precautions. They also recommended nearby places to eat, drink and have fun. They spoke softly throughout the process, making people feel very relaxed and comfortable. It is worth mentioning that there is a sento opposite the hotel. You can use the coupons given by the hotel to take a bath for free. The bathhouse is also the traditional one in Japanese dramas. It is recommended that if you want to feel the atmosphere of a Japanese bathhouse, you must go and experience it. Take a shower and drink a bottle of iced milk, nice~

The house is indeed a renovated old machiya, so the area is indeed a bit cramped. The service from ********* compatriots is very good, and breakfast and afternoon iced drinks are also provided, which is a good experience.

To be honest, a hotel at this price is a bit lower than expected. Although it is a machiya, there are still quite a lot of people staying there, unlike some machiyas where only one family lives. The location of the hotel is not very good. You have to take a bus to go everywhere. The surrounding buildings are relatively modern. This machiya is quite awkward here. But the attitude of the lady at the front desk is quite good, and there is a bathroom opposite where locals wash themselves, so you can experience Japanese culture.

I've traveled all the way to Japan, but I want to experience a ryokan, and the price is the best value for money when I want to be expensive. However, since kaiseki meals are not prepared, and the hot spring is not located in the facility, but is used in the hot spring bath right in front of the accommodation, you cannot feel the ryokan as it is. The location is not far from Kyoto Station, so there was no inconvenience in finding the accommodation after leaving the luggage at Kyoto Station and walking around enough. It was the best in terms of service, such as preparing simple refreshments at check-in, free pork nose rental, and map of restaurants around the accommodation.

Siamo stati in questo classico Ryokan per 3 giorni e siamo stati divinamente, esperienza meravigliosa. Iniziamo dal locale, tutto in stile tradizionale giapponese dalla hall ad ovviamente tutte le camere. Noi eravamo in due e c’era spazio per tutto il necessario. Le stanze pulitissime e riassettate ogni giorno. Danno in dotazione anche un classico pigiama giapponese. La colazione in stile giapponese buona e abbondante. Infine la parte che più ci ha sorpreso, il personale e i servizi accessori. Tutti erano super gentili e disponibili ad ogni richiesta e se potevano facevano loro tutto. Come per esempio pass degli autobus o taxi. Ogni giorno dalle 17 mettevano a disposizione gratuitamente the, caffè e dolcetti. Inoltre permettono di usufruire gratuitamente dei bagni tradizionali giapponesi (Sentō) fornendo anche tutto l’occorrente. La posizione è in un quartiere a un paio di km dal centro ma nel raggio di 150mt ci sono tutte le fermate dell’autobus necessarie per raggiungere qualsiasi altro quartiere di Kyoto. Che dire, esperienza meravigliosa, speriamo di riuscire a tornarci un giorno.
