Pet-friendly Hotels in Kyoto

I had a terrific four night stay at the Ace in Kyoto. The building design is stunning and set the vibe for the entire stay. The front desk staff were so friendly and so helpful with my many questions and requests. The room was spacious and well stocked with whatever you needed. The soaking tub was the prefect way to recover after a day running around Kyoto. I'm vegan, and the restaurants made sure I had plenty of delicious food to eat. The hotel centrally located within Kyoto, and right above a mall that had some great shopping. I recommend the Ace and look forward to returning.

The experience is amazing. The room, the garden, the staffs and the location (outside the center so we can relax) are perfect. We had a garden-view room with a balcony that we could enjoy our drinks very relaxing!

Comfortable place for a family stay. Room was spacious for Japanese standards. Facilities modern and functional. Fairly close to station and sightseeing landmarks. Quite and clean. It would benefit to have the staff to speak better English though.

An unexpected incident occurred when I first arrived at the hotel. The order information was ”Kyoto Gojo Livemax Hotel”. The map navigation of the order was correct, but when I arrived at the hotel, there was no reservation information. Since I was unfamiliar with the place, I first asked the hotel staff to help confirm the reservation. The address and phone number are not theirs, and then ask the hotel staff to help find out where the address is? Then it was confirmed that it was ”Nijo Castle Livemax Hotel”, and I asked a ********* friend to contact the website to confirm. It was confirmed that the information was incorrect. I hope the website can strengthen it to prevent similar incidents from happening again. I thought I was going to sleep on the street. The hotel is not far from the JR station, so transportation is convenient. It is also clean and tidy. Even though it is a smoking room, there is no smell of smoke when you check in. If you need to change towels, you have to go to the counter to get them.

　I wanted to go to Nijo Jo castle at the first time in the morning so I could choose this hotel. It is located north of Nijo Jo castle and is a few minutes walk. Booked on behalf of a friend, the response said that it is very good, the environment is clean and hygienic, it is an apartment-style family suite, the tatami is very unique, suitable for a family and children to live together.

It is a pet-friendly Kyomachiya wekeend house available to couples, families and groups.

Hotel people are kind. The room was not a problem in particular. Very good location for both sightseeing and business.
