Hotels near Bosch Tower in L＇Alacanti

We stayed here for the weekend during a recent city break. It is true that you get what you pay for and this is the case for Hotel Leuka. The reception and welcome was good. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom is a bath come shower arrangement with good water pressure and temperature the water was hot. The location is in a side street away from the main roads and only a short walk (3 minutes) from a C6 bus stop for transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is quite noisy as having hard (stone) floors with any footsteps or moving furniture can be heard. The walls between rooms are quite thin and people talking can be quite easily heard. Breakfast is plentiful though the scrambled egg and bacon were'luke warm'. There is a bar next door which we sat in for a couple of evenings. The drinks were really inexpensive. We enjoyed walking around the town and to the harbour with a day trip to Benidorm on the train. There's quite a lot to see in a weekend in Alicante and certainly worth a visit.

- Hey, We had a good stay, The hotel is very nice overall. With a very large hall and several places to sit to drink or to put. A bar with affordable prices, a restaurant and a swimming pool complete this hotel. The hotel has a sports room but it is not accessible. It should be called to a coach you will have to find and pay for yourself. That's so much to say that it's not useful. Very bad.

I'm trying to work out the target customers for this hotel due to its location. It's out of the town (Santa Pola), situated next to the N-332 (busy north-south coast road), and on the edge of a retail park. As a result it has no room for facilities (outdoor pool, tennis courts, etc.) although it's new so everything is up to date. Rooms have a large balcony which I guess would be nice in summer. That's about it. Even the bar is a solitary tap in the hotel lobby - no separate area. Breakfast was standard but no complaints. The retail park has various eating and drinking places - KFC, Burger King, other burger places, various bars - but I didn't find a real Spanish one. Quite a lot were closed as it was out of season. For those familiar with the UK I thought it was very like a Premier Inn or Travelodge and a 4* rating is misleading. I'm thinking it's really an airport hotel so not for a long stay.

Now there are a lot of people that this hotel is not this and not that. Let me say that if you are not over weight it’s a nice still to the Mariana and restaurants and beach to be fair. This is not on the front but what a lovely place rooms are clean with a mini bar that’s a nice addition to the room. Safes in the room and overall clean today and a excellent nice stay. As I always say I stay away a lot with my job and review fairly this place was lovely. The roof top pool was not massive but what do you expect for a roof lol. Nice little bar up there too. Have to say they tried there best to accommodate my early check in coukd not promise but they did there best. The front of house areas and the reception team are a credit to this hotel

We recently spent nine nights in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms, though not huge are spotless and very well equipped. Cleaning was top class…. Compliments to the chambermaid whose name I didn’t get ( room 909) . Staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food available……fruit, yogurts, cold meats, cheeses, cakes, bacon, eggs, sausages and a good selection of breads. The location is excellent……across the road from airport bus stop and fifteen minute walk from train station. It is a short walk down to the old town and promenade. There is a bar and food service in the lobby in the evenings which we were unaware of for the first few days. Perhaps this could be better advertised, maybe as one approaches the lifts? The lift situation is quite slow……there are only two lifts for ten floors and they take ages to come. A small quibble for an otherwise excellent hotel. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

I have always held the opinion that the standard red Ibis hotel room is OK for single occupancy, but is unsuitable for a couple, unless they are sharing a single suitcase. There is definitely insufficient space in a standard Ibis bathroom for a girl who usually wants to clutter every possible flat surface with cosmetics, shampoos, skin creams etc...etc... The situation could be improved if Ibis fitted some shelving to the walls in the bathroom and the bedroom. Since I was travelling solo and only stayed for 1 night, I did not need to unpack all my luggage, so the room was adequate. Check in and check out was smooth and uneventful. Everything in the room was clean and worked properly. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own designated on street parking spaces which are free for hotel guests. There is also additional free public parking, and a covered (payable) parking garage nearby. I will probably continue to use this hotel for 1 night stops.

The hotel is about 13 euros from the lively neighborhood of the seaside. If you are departing from the hotel, you need to ask the front desk to help you call the car. The cost of attaching the car is about 5 euros. Breakfast 12 euros / person, not much things, still exquisite. Underground parking is available for a fee, and on-street parking is free. The hotel has a good internal environment with 2 swimming pools. Two-bedroom house, one with a bathroom, and two chairs for relaxation on the outdoor balcony.

Hello Firstly I’d like to say don’t listen to half these bad reviews . People that say it’s in the middle of no where clearly haven’t done any research prior to booking this hotel , which absolutely baffles me. El Campello and San Juan are a 10 minute cab journey or car if you have one away. Two beautiful beaches for the family or couples to enjoy. There’s a few small shops and bars 5 minute walk from hotel if you want something different. As for the hotel , it’s been updated since we last went , rooms currently still under going refurbs , we had top floor overlooking the pool it was a stunning view every morning and a very spacious room for me and my kids and wife. We have stayed at this hotel twice before and also my parents have had apartments they bought in the bonalba complex. For me personally to not have many English there is bliss I don’t come away on holiday to see English , I like the culture of the Spanish and the fact I try to speak some to which is good. No idea why people say it’s not a clean hotel , there was a cleaner in the toilets every single morning without fail , spotless and the pool area was so clean every time we went down there. Food was a great selection we had full board , every meal we had was brilliant and the staff always stocked up when the buffet got low on food. I will say if you don’t like waiting in queues or waiting in general to be served for drinks at the bar or reception then this isn’t the place for you neither is any of Spain 😂 they are very relaxed people and they take there time and you have to respect that. Overall for me I had a fantastic 8 days got back yesterday , my kids loved it and I will give one more special mention to AMY the animation team , she is outstanding with kids I mean the best I’ve ever seen with them , she is truly gifted, made everyone feel welcome always smiling , loads of energy and she had kids around her all day they were in awe of her , my three children loved her , please show her this review whoever reads this from hotel bonalba , I forgot to say bye to her as couldn’t find her on final day ( just say to her I was the dad of Jenson and Rocco the twins ) from south London she will know who we are , she’s not back until Tuesday night I believe so maybe she could read it then I wish her the best in life ,a superb dancer too. Close to the airport, travel is very convenient, the front desk girl is very nice, breakfast is very rich. The room is quite big, the infrastructure is available, and the bar on the first floor can have hot water.
