Le Relax Luxury Lodge

Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt.. Vorsicht!!! Man kommt ins Zimmer und möchte sofort wieder raus. Ein unangenehmer, muffiger Geruch kommt einem entgegen. Alter moderig, schimmeliger Geruch. Man musste erst einmal Insekten entfernen. Desweiteren fand man Haare von vorherigen Gästen im Bad, die bestimmt immer noch da sind. Die Zimmer können nicht ordentlich verschlossen werden, weder von innen noch von außen. Der Whirlpool, wie er so schön im Urlaubskatalog angeboten wird, funktioniert nicht. Beim Pool ist man auf dem Holz eingebrochen. Der ungepflegte Strand wird von den Nachbarskindern besetzt oder den Hunden. Die Bilder die online zu sehen sind, entsprechen nicht der Realität. Beim Frühstück kann man wählen zwischen Müsli, Toast und Obst oder Ei, Pancakes und Obst. Es gibt kein Buffet und keine größere Auswahl. Als Kaffee wird leider Instant-Kaffe serviert. Das Abendessen war geschmacklich okay, die Auswahl aber auch mau. An mehreren Tagen gab es jedoch leider kein Bier, Cola und Sprite, obwohl es auf der Karte angeboten wird. Die Nachbarn neben dem Hotel spielen von morgens bis abends sehr laute Musik. Bei Nachfrage an der Rezeption, ob dies hier normal ist, erhielten wir die Antwort: „Die wohnen nunmal hier.“ Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, ungepflegt und viel zu teuer für das, was geboten wird.

One stop on our trip took us to this small accommodation right by the sea. The lodges (6 in total) are in top condition, spacious and very clean. The bike reservation worked perfectly. Mohan spoiled us very much during our stay, took us on a culinary journey of discovery (Indian breakfast - highly recommended!) and gave us a wonderful time with all the good spirits in the house. On his birthday my husband was even surprised with a sea of ​​flowers. Thank you everyone! We would have liked a drying rack for wet laundry and light on the terrace. We would also have been very happy to have a few tables and chairs on the terrace, where you can linger for a while in the evening.

If you like nature, this is your hotel, located in the heart of the La Digue jungle on the shores of the sea. Large and well decorated rooms, but lacks maintenance. There is no buffet but there is a varied menu for breakfast and dinner where you can order whatever you want, very large and delicious dishes. The host is very attentive to everything and although he has few staff he tries to help you with everything so that you feel comfortable. Few rooms so it is very quiet and relaxing.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. What can I say, unfortunately upon our arrival the situation immediately seemed not to be the best, the room itself would be very nice but unfortunately it turns out to be almost a bunker as it is located directly on the small garden shared with all the other rooms, so if they open the curtains are seen by all the other guests and the windows cannot be opened because they are locked. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, upon our arrival the sheets had small rust-colored stains and the towels black stains, the tap was all dirty at the bottom and with many midges, we found other dead insects in the room and a giant cockroach walking undisturbed on the tent. We also asked for beach towels and these were also stained and when we pointed this out the staff didn't seem particularly surprised. The breakfast offers little choice and the service is quite slow, the fruit is not the best, the fruit juice they offer is not fresh industrial juice, on the other hand the omelette and pancakes are good. The beach in front is not very inviting due to large shoals of algae present in the sea that come out at low tide, but there are many very beautiful beaches just a few minutes away by bike. The staff were friendly and tried to do their best but unfortunately the hotel is not worth the money it charges.

Eine kleine Anlage mit 3 Gebäuden mit je 2 Lodge. Service und auch die Küche haben uns für 5 Tage verwöhnt, individuelle Wünsche wurden organisiert. Nochmals Dankeschön. Für uns hat es wirklich gepasst.
