📍 ANSE REUNION, La Digue

"Basic clean accommodation. No safe in room or reception. Valuables stored by shop manager. Good takeaway on site. Very expensive restaurant on site. Decent breakfast. Friendly but strict staff. Free transfer from and to port."

Le Repaire - Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

Le Repaire - Boutique Hotel & Restaurant ★★★★

📍 JRWG+HGH anse reunion, Anse Reunion, La Digue

"This is relatively the most comfortable hotel to stay at at this price. It's only about 600 meters away from the pier, so you don't have to pay relatively high taxi fares (you must discount taxis in the Seychelles, otherwise they are really expensive). La Digue is also relatively small, so you can explore the entire island by renting a bicycle. There is also the most beautiful beach here, and you need to pay a fee to go to this beach. But there is a sense that it can only be viewed from a distance but not played with. The scenery is beautiful, but the sand is relatively hard."

"Worse stay ever, staff is rude, as well as the owner. We had few very kind requests as I am pregnant, but owner replied that being pregnant does not mean that hotel will do anything extra for us, which we found being very rude. Place to avoid strictly. Besides, the bathroom was very dirty and towels were smelly and very old. Breakfast incomplete, no bread and no beverages."

"A simple option for one night It was suitable for us for one night on the island. Pros: Location: 10 minutes from the port Breakfast: Quite filling. Staff: Special thanks to Julia! She was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags after check-out and even take a shower before leaving. Amenities: There's a shared kitchen where you can cook. Cons: Booking discrepancies: The voucher indicated a different address, which caused initial confusion. Furnishings: Very basic, without any extra amenities. Utilities: No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Shower: The water isn't very hot. Kitchen: Basicly equipped. We were missing salt, pepper, and oil. Some of the mugs were chipped. Verdict: If, like us, you just need a place to stay near the port without any special comfort requirements, this option is suitable. Julia's kindness brightens the otherwise austere atmosphere. However, for longer stays or if you value comfort and consistent amenities, it's better to consider other options. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos; I'm attaching one that shows the bathroom."

Cabanes des Anges

Cabanes des Anges ★★★★

📍 JRWH+76J, La Digue

"What a beautiful property! The accommodation was spotless, and the little pools were lovely. The property is tucked away in a great location; although it isn't beachfront, the calm, sweet garden and the overall layout more than make up for it. We didn’t have time to try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on it, but I’m sure it would have been fabulous. Great value for money!"

Orchid Self Catering Apartment ★★★

📍 JRXH+G8H, La Digue

"If you enjoy sharing your room with lizards, ants and spiders and not being able to sleep at night, then this is the place for you. We booked 2 apartments and the situation was the same in both so I can safely say it is applicable to all units. When we entered the room, we noticed that the beds were full of ants. We tried our best to get rid of them ourselves but they kept appearing out of nowhere so, naturally, we asked the reception for help. They simply stated that we are on a tropical island therefore bugs are a normal part and handed out a bug spray. Funnily enough, we had already spent 4 nights on Praslin, another tropical island, bug free. The apartment is called self-catering, however you cannot attempt to cook because of the ants. All the food needs to be put away immediately or in 5 minutes you are under attack. We also had lizards visiting during the night and a huge spider. The doors and windows are not sealed properly (1 cm gap under the outside door) therefore there is a constant draft, causing the windows to shake loudly (feels like someone was constantly trying to break in) especially during the night when the wind was blowing stronger, making it impossible to sleep. We had to resort to sticking some kitchen utensils to keep the windows in place and stop the noise. Even if the apartment is being cleaned daily, the overall state ruined our experience and couldn't wait to be out of there. Other aspects worth mentioning: - there was no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms and since the shower head is fixed, water would fly everywhere. - the electric kettle couldn't be used because of the rust on the bottom - one of the beds came without a headboard, making it uncomfortable to sleep in and causing the pillows to constantly slip. - the wardrobe door hit directly into one of the light sockets when open"

📍 Anse Reunion, LE RELAX SELF CATERING Near Roman Catholic Church, La Digue

"The environment of the room itself should be okay. But it feels like there are very few people living there, and everything from the front desk to the guest rooms is not very clean. The reason for the ecological environment is understandable, but it feels like there is a lack of daily cleaning and maintenance. Since dragging suitcases was far and inconvenient, we reluctantly settled in. The problem was not too big. The staff provided good service and patiently dealt with the hygiene issues. Very friendly and welcoming. But overall, I don’t recommend choosing this place."

Gregoire's Apartment Hotels in La Digue

Gregoire's Apartment

"After staying here in 2019, we decided to book Gregoire’s Apartments again. One of the biggest advantages is that guests can use all the facilities of La Digue Island Lodge. This includes the breakfast buffet, the beautiful pool area, and the sun loungers directly at the beach. There is also the option to rent bicycles for only SCR 100, which is perfect for exploring the island comfortably. The rooms have unfortunately not been renovated since our last stay and are starting to show their age, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet is no longer as rich and varied as it used to be, which is probably due to the Iran conflict and the low number of guests. A major downside for us was the unstable Wi-Fi connection, and the fact that there was no Wi-Fi available in the restaurant during breakfast or at the pool. When we asked about it, we were simply told that there is no Wi-Fi in those areas.Overall, the value for money has declined since our previous stay."

"We came here for dinner and ordered a salad. Our new bikes were parked in a closed area of the hotel. It took two hours before we got the salad and the staff kept checking on us when we were still at the table. We felt that something was wrong and indeed. When we came to our bikes they had been replaced by old rusty ones. Shame on you for treating your customers like this. We will definitely not be coming back here and certainly not to stay overnight."

Le Relax Luxury Lodge Hotels in La Digue

Le Relax Luxury Lodge

"The Le Relax Luxury Lodge is a dream for someone looking for peace during his vacation. A little isolated from the nearest hotels, it is located on the northeast of La Digue . The beach is less than a minute away from the lodge and is simply gorgeous and empty of people ;). Only a few minutes’ walk away is one of the most beautiful beaches we have found (Anse Pate Beach), with probably the most photographed palm tree in La Digue. The waves can be a bit rough, but it pays off hundreds of times over. The room in the hotel was large and well-furnished. For breakfast, you could choose between an Intercontinental and an Indian breakfast. The. Indian breakfast takes a little longer to be ready. From the hotel to the harbor, it is about 20 minutes by bike. You can borrow bikes from the hotel, but they are without lights, so we rode through the night on the way back. It's best to pack a headlamp."

Chez Michellin Pensions Residence Hotels in La Digue

Chez Michellin Pensions Residence

"From the moment I stepped foot on the property, after an easy 10 minute walk from the ferry port, I felt at home. The room was just what I needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the fridge cold! There was a nice porch at the front to sit and relax after biking around the island! Breakfast was a buffet of cereals, yogurt, meats and cheeses as well as made to order eggs. They don’t rent bikes on site but have a place to do so down the road. Everything that you would need is in easy walking distance. If I ever return to Le Digue, I would definitely stay here again."

"A good option for a short stopover. Three of us stayed at this hotel for one night. It was perfectly suitable for such a short stay, although there are a few things to be aware of in advance. The port is only a 10-minute drive away, or a 35-minute walk. All the beaches are easily accessible by bike. The food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner included. The food was quite tasty and filling, with large portions. We really liked the dinner option: you can order any dish from the menu. Special thanks for the welcome mango juices upon arrival – very tasty and enjoyable. A useful touch for a beach holiday: beach towels are provided in the room, and there's a shower outside. This is very convenient – you can rinse off after the beach before entering your room. The rooms are certainly tired, and the furniture is old. But for a simple overnight stay, everything you need is there. The only real drawback is the toiletries. There's no shampoo at all; they offer some questionable shower gel instead, so it's best to bring your own. The hotel offers a shuttle service. It costs 10 euros from the port. The organization was poor: they didn't pick us up on the first try, so we had to wait and confirm. The return shuttle is better—you can book it for any convenient time. We rented bicycles from the hotel for 150 Seychelles rupees. Average quality; better bikes are available."

"We left with the crew of the Belle Petra for a whole day, with snorkelling at Grande Soeur then at Félicité, and we had lunch on the magnificent Félicité beach. The skipper adapted perfectly to us and took great care of our young children! A lovely team and a boat in great condition. We were only 10 passengers, while we passed other boats carrying 16 people. Furthermore, the other boats were not entitled to the barbecue on the beach. Delicious barbecue, with chicken and fish as well as delicious local salads prepared on site. One of our best vacation memories! We recommend 100%! Thanks again to Hyacinthe and the whole team!"

"Upon checking in our very gracious concierge, Nadine, helped set up our 6 night itinerary. Our Cabana faced the beautiful gardens and pool. Our room/apartment with living room and kitchen was clean with daily service, and just perfect for us to unwind on our last week visiting beautiful La Digue Seychelles. We rented E bikes to explore the island. We highly recommend the electric bikes! We arranged to have breakfast on our last morning and it was fantastic! Cappuccinos, Fresh fruit, French toast, smoothies, fresh pressed juices and eggs cooked to order!"

"I was looking for a place to have breakfast, and even though I wasn't staying at the hotel, I was warmly welcomed. From the moment I arrived, Marykate's friendly voice and genuine hospitality made me feel so comfortable. She even allowed me to leave my bag at the reception so I could enjoy my breakfast without worrying about my luggage. At the restaurant, Vinod and Katherina made sure I was comfortable throughout my meal. Their service was exceptional—they were attentive and thoughtful, allowing me to finish each plate before bringing my next order, which I really appreciated. My boat wasn't leaving for another five hours, and they kindly allowed me to relax by the pool so I could refresh before my journey. My dress had become quite wrinkled, and Ms. Darina was incredibly kind in helping me with it. Thank you as well to Visal for the lovely glass of champagne while everything was being set up. Your team truly knows how to go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, even those who aren't staying at the hotel. This experience has convinced me that I will definitely be coming back—next time as a guest. I will proudly recommend your hotel to everyone I know."

"The address for the apartment is incorrect! The GPS points to a different location. We ran around the island with suitcases in the heat, which was pretty bad. I'm attaching a photo; the circled location is the correct one. Overall, the apartment is fine; everything you need is provided, except for beach towels. Being close to the ferry is a plus, but the dogs bark loudly all night and the roosters crow, which is a major minus. The neighboring hotel/apartment had a disco until midnight two days out of two, and it was also very loud. The apartment isn't cleaned, and linens and towels aren't changed."
