Hilton Québec

The view from the hotel room is so beautiful, we specially booked a river view room. The location of the hotel is impeccable, but some room facilities are missing, such as slippers, kettle, bathroom floor mat, etc. It's a popular tourist area, so just ignore it, haha. The rooms are often fully booked during the peak season, because people who like Quebec don't care about these small details.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Quebec Parliament Center and within walking distance to the old town. The service attitude is very good, check in and check out are relatively smooth. Parking is convenient (charged).

The environment and cleanliness of the stay were good, and the location was convenient. More than CAD$300 per night plus Valet park$32 per day. The price is acceptable, but the service and professionalism of the staff are disappointing. Event one: The front desk staff forgot to collect the deposit when we checked in, but after we checked in, when we came back, we couldn't swipe both cards and couldn't get in. I went downstairs and asked the counter to find out about the deposit issue. I asked them why they didn't tell me and just locked the card directly. Answer: There were text messages and e-mails sent. I asked them to read them on my mobile phone, but there was no message on my mobile phone. This approach is very disrespectful to customers. We have completed the check in. Instead of directly degaussing the card to prevent us from entering, we can put a note inside the door or call to let us know. Event two: After checking out and picking up the car, I waited for more than 20 minutes but didn't see the car. After interrogation, I found out that they brought the wrong car. During the search, we found that our car keys had the wrong name tags on them, but the older lady refused to accept our explanation until the parking staff came to deal with it and confirmed that they had indeed fastened the wrong name tags. Valet parking only took ten minutes, but it took forty minutes due to an error. Hilton is a branded hotel. The front desk and valet parking are the first things customers encounter. Both their professionalism and service attitude are disappointing.

The front desk service is courteous, the room is tidy and the view is beautiful. There are no water bottles in the room, but there are water bottles that can be filled in the lobby. Shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion are provided in the bathroom, but there is no shower gel.

A family of three booked 2 nights. When I checked in, I was told that the confirmed room order was not given to a two-bed Queen size room, but I could upgrade to a suite. I went to the room with great joy, but I saw that the room type was a double bed with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was completely uncomfortable, so I informed customer service early the next morning to request a transfer back to the room type I originally booked. The room was transferred to us that afternoon. Unexpectedly, when I was about to take a shower at night, I found that there was no shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. I quickly called customer service to inquire. The customer service actually replied that an employee was free to bring shower gel to the room at that time and asked us to wait. He also said that there is no shower gel. Can shower soap be used? My immediate reaction was that their service level was ridiculous and unacceptable. I will not stay at Hilton again when I go to Quebec in the future.
