Pak Nam Resort

We stayed one night in this hotel, this is just can consider same class as home stay. The room we stay is beach villa, a very old room, furniture got smell and toilet not clean and no chair in the room !!!! The food is a bit pricey also! And the reception cant really communicate in English! And please prepare cash for hotel and food as they don’t accept credit card?!!

When your taxi driver from Had Yai Airport and front desk informed you no cabs would come to this property to take you anywhere, this gave us an immediate concern. Property was very isolated with no shops or stores. The closest seven eleven was like 20 minutes away by car on the road with no sidewalks or streetlights. We stayed here for one night as we were headed to Pak Bara Pier the next day to go to Koh Lipe. The front desk told us that they couldn't call a taxi for us to get us to the pier. The cook was kind enough to take us to the pier the next day. Duct tape was used to cover up holes on the bed. The hot water didn't work. The faucet was about to come off the sink. The couch was broken and you basically sat on the floor. You were on a bay and not the ocean. The pictures of the beach they put on their website didn't remotely resemble anything we saw on this location. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow and according to *******, the room was over $100 per night. The original hotel we booked canceled on us so ******* offered us this beachfront bungalow at a discount price. It is not worth $100 per night. If you are looking for a place to stay for a night before hopping on a ferry ride to Koh Lipe the next day or actually for any reason, DO NOT stay at this place.
