So I know Riu as a top hotel. This old shed isn't worth the trip. I won't say more. Confirm all other negative reviews

The hotel is right on the beach and has a great location; the sanitation service is very good and everything is clean; the dining and entertainment are also great; the facilities need to be improved, such as the curtains are old and not smooth, and the room card is too big to fit in your pocket when you go out for a run. Convenient, the size of the TV is about the same as the monitor; the biggest problem is that only the lobby has Wi-Fi and there is no Wi-Fi signal in the room, which is very incomprehensible.

We stayed for 1 week from 17/04/24 in the annex area. We requested a specific room for our stay and as usual the hotel reception team sirted this for us. It was very quite with only about 50% occupation. as usual when the guest nubers are low the annex restaurant was totally closed and the pool area bar only open until 6pm. All meals were taken in the man restaurant and at peak times it was very busy. The food was very good and i really enjoyed a visit to The Mandarin Chinese themed restaurant. The staff are amazing at the hotel and always go that extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful holiday. I would like to give a special mention to Begoña for looking afrter our room to make sure in was of the highest possible standard. The bar staff including Luis, Julio, Carlos,Enrique,Tivo,Gladys, Jonny,& Marie who always work hard to keep you well served in the Bars. The Animation team are always busy entertaining the guests throughout the day, a big shout out to my Brother Placido for always having time to say hello when he sees me abiut the hotel.

A fuir malgré un emplacement de rêve ! Pour commencer, les transferts sont vraiment à titre indicatif et quand vous appelez le service client soit ça ne décroche pas, soit ils ne parlent pas français... du coup, c'est la debrouillardise pour aller à l'aéroport... L'hôtel, si vous aimez les hôtels vintage, type année 60, c'est le bon plan.. par contre, il faut aimer, les serviettes rêches, la robinetterie qui ne fonctionne pas ou comme la poignée de porte qui vous reste dans la main. Les restaurants, très grands choix mais immangeable. Le personnel peut être sympa mais comme quasi aucun ne parle français, la aussi c'est la debrouillardise pour le moindre sujet... Un conseil : passez votre chemin !

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, aber auch sehr alt eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war riesig. Es gab aber leider nur im Haupthaus Internet. Der Fernseher war sehr klein und die Lautstärke nur minimal.
Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich egal in welchem Bereich.
Die Lage ist relativ gut..in den nächsten Ort ist es schon ein stückchen zu gehen, also sollte man gut zu Fuss sein.
Das Essen war sehr schlecht.. Mittags gab es fast immer das Gleiche...
Das Frühstück war allerding sehr gut.
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand bei den Dünen.. einfach toll..

We have recently returned from our 3rd trip to this hotel. After nearly a 2 year gap since our last visit we were a bit worried that things might have changed or gone downhill but we needed have worried. Yes the hotel is looking a bit tired in places but everything else was as good as we remembered and we had a lovely time. There are 2 things which make this hotel fantastic-the location which just can't be beaten and the superb staff who are all so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay great. Thank you again to everyone at Riu Oliva Beach. We will be back. Tgec

Had a lovely stay-staff were all lovely-hotel was very good,yes a little dated but for a 3star hotel you couldn’t fault it.
You would not go hungry as there was something for everyone at all meals
