Hotel LIVVO Corralejo Beach ★★★★

"We had a lovely stay at LIVVO Corralejo Beach. The biggest plus is the location – it's excellent, just a short walk to the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants, making it a perfect base for exploring Corralejo. Our apartment was very clean and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a good variety each morning, and the snack bar served tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices. The pool area is pleasant with plenty of sunbeds and a relaxed atmosphere. There were a few areas that could do with improvement. Our room overlooked the pool, which was nice, but the balcony was very small. We also had issues with the air conditioning during our stay, although staff did provide a fan which helped. The hotel itself is a little dated in places, particularly around the pool. The pool liner was ripped in places and there were several loose tiles, which made it look tired and could benefit from refurbishment. Overall, the fantastic location, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere outweighed the negatives. With a few updates, especially to the pool area, this hotel would be an even better place to stay."

"The room and bathroom are big enough; it seems that all rooms have sea views; the sea water is clear; the beach is beautiful; the service staff is warm, thoughtful and professional. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. The room has a slight musty smell; the curtains are not smooth and cannot cover everything; the room key is still an old-fashioned mechanical lock with a relatively large size tag, which is not convenient to take to the swimming pool; the distance required to take the bus is also a bit far."

"Well we have been home now for three weeks and are missing this hotel. There were three of us a couple over 65 and a teenager of 17 and we all really enjoyed the experience. The one bedroom apartment we had was very spacious and cleaned every day. The apartment was on the ground floor which had a terrace complete with two sun beds and a table with four chairs. Also it was only about 15 feet from the pool so we didn’t have to fight to get a bed by the pool. The food was very good and did change daily so even if you’re a picky eater you would find something nice to eat. We did like the idea of getting your own drinks soft , wine & beer however the bars were very good. We would like to thank every member of staff for making our eleven night holiday so memorable. We would like to single out Gino because he is a great an all round entertainer but the way he interacted with our 17 year old daughter who has special needs was brilliant. Thank so much and who knows we could be visiting again in the near future."

"For the non-fussy members of the family, the food variety was great although the themed nights rotate weekly so you may have the same options again if you are there for more than 7 days. Even though there was plain salad, chips, plain pasta, pizza - the fussy members of the family did not eat very much :( For breakfast, there was something for everyone. We went all inclusive to give the kids flexibility so they had a lot of chips/burgers/pizza/onion rings from the lunch cabinet in the pool bar - this suited them and they were able to help themselves. Rooms were big and comfortable although the sofa bed was too hard for the kids - we did request a mattress topper which was provided (although it had a weird scratchy top so we used the spare duvets to cover that) Guests do put towels down on sunbeds from 9am but we did managed to get them, even if it was around the kids pool - this was fine as it was not far to the large pool and actually pretty peaceful. The bar in the evening was nice but service was slow, probably not enough staff - could it have been to reduce the no. of all inclusive drinks provided? maybe.... Good location - 10 mins walk to aqua park in one direction, 10 mins to Corralejo centre the other - lots of shops, bars and restaurants to look at on the way."
