This is a super location between the train station and the centre of la spezia. It is just minutes from each. It is a spotless room and really brightly lit. We had a balcony too which we used every morning for our nespresso coffee and juice. It is in the heart of a traditional Italian building and everyone was so friendly. We had booked a different accommodation which it turned out was not built when we arrived .. long story. We contacted Keta on what’sapp and Keta responded within minutes And was at the apartment to let us in in 20 minutes. She was a real life saver. She gave us advice for the next day and sent on recommendations for places to eat.. a super super host, the shower is brand news .. everything feels brand new . Highly recommend the property location and the host .

The hotel is located on the edge of the yacht harbour and is a very clean hotel. The service staff's attitude is good and humorous. It is a bit far from the hotel to go to the Cinque Terre. You can choose to buy a scenic ticket to take the train, or you can buy a ticket at the pier. For my military enthusiasts, I was delighted to see that five Horizon-class air defense destroyers docked near the military port were visible from the hotel window. This was the best night in Italy for 15 days, on Easter night, seeing a group of Christians doing mass, dining at a restaurant opened by a local people near the hotel, very authentic Italian meals and red wine. The hotel bed has two data line interfaces without converters, which is very considerate.

A good hotel is almost in the center of the city. To the main attractions, as well as to the station, you can walk a walk. Thank you very much!

We stayed 4 nights. It was great. They put us in one of the rooms on the station side of the railway tunnel. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the station which was ideal for us as we arrived by train, had a few days in the Cinque Terre, took the train to Pisa for a day ams then took the train to Rome at the end. It’s also very handy to La Spezia town, restaurants etc. we also walked from there to the Ferry to go to Porto Venere for the day. reception was very helpful. Room was great and the coffee machine and pods were much appreciated. Location excellent. The only negative (which didn’t bother us too much) - no elevator. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Hospitality was wonderful, always clean, I really liked the kettle in the room. They gave you 2 coffee pods for the really cool coffee machine in the lobby area but the machine ran out of milk for cappuccino so it ruined one of my pods and there was no way to get any more. I had to use instant coffee that I brought with me or walk for coffee. Walk down Via Fiume...I was wandering around and found this very long pedistrian shopping area down Via Fiume with tons of great restaurants and shops. The room I was in was very large with a clean bathroom. The lobby smelled great, they have an air freshner plugged in, tons of brochures, and of course easy walk to train station. I also liked that it was on the ground floor, so no schlepping luggage up any stairs :-) The main drawback was trying to coordinate with the owners on arrival. They come and meet you to let you in and give you keys. I go there a little late because of the train and when I got there I rang and rang and rang the bell. No answer so I walked with my luggage and found a restaurant to eat dinner. He was waiting when I returned. One evening during my 4 night stay, someone else apparently ran into the same problem...as I was watching a movie on my ipad I heard the bell ringing and ringing and ringing. I was a solo female traveler and didn't feel safe enough to open the B&B door myself to let them in and wait in the lobby. So I had to keep hearing the buzz about 2 dozen times. I could feel their frustration since I also had to wait outside.
