Cascade Wellness Resort

We like the hotel’s location as it is on the scenic cliff walk (direct access), great view and walk along the cliff. Staffs are very friendly. Room is spacious.

From Check in to check out the Cascades team could not have done more to accommodate our Valentines visit to thier Wellness Resort. Jaoa on check in and Anita Santos, Guest Service are great Ambassadors for there employers. Accommodation, Spa, Restaurant, bar ( thank you Mario) all delivered more than expected. We will definitely return. Thank you all - Appreciated.

beautiful, clean, professional, knowledgable, helpful, efficient, relaxing, just overall amazing. I have traveled many places and have many to go, and do not plan on repeating any particular places, but Cascade Wellness in the Algarve is an exception!

The Resort is beautifully located and for us our absolute favorite place. The amenities and the staff, the surroundings, the rooms and the spa - perfect! We have been here 5 times and come back every year. If you are looking for a luxurious and peaceful setting at one of the Algarve's top nature trails, this is the place to be.

I will start by saying the Cascade Wellness Resort is absolutely fantastic and fully deserves the 5 star grading. I booked with Jet2 holidays for ten nights – Half Board stay during April 2024. I was happy to be placed in a room in the Portugal Wing, having emailed my request a few weeks prior to my arrival to be placed in this area to the hotel. I want to personally thank the hotel for accomodating my request, as I know that such requests cannot always be guaranteed, due to occupancy/room allocation etc. The room was tastefully decorated with colours of light tones and blue/orange chairs and cushions, pictures on the walls, tv with european channels, tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, adequate storage, drawer space, clothes hangers and a safe also provided. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, this included a bath with shower attachment, a separate large walk in shower, twin sink with L'occitane beauty products, a large mirror, a separate shaving mirror, ample sized towels and 2 bath robes, but my most favourite item was the tasteful blue and white portuguese tiled area above the bath, it was so beautifully done and felt very bespoke. I have to congratulate the person/company who designed the Portugal Rooms, because from a design/colour/detail aspect it all came together so very well. It was such a lovely room to stay in, I didn't want to leave. My room was a terrace room, so I had a garden/pool view with a glimpse of the sea, this terrace also had 2 chairs, 2 sunloungers and a table. It was a pleasant area to relax in and walk out onto each morning. The Cascade Wellness is extremely clean and well maintained and the scent in reception and corridors is just divine. Again, I will talk about the details and design, the beautiful staircase in reception which leads down to the lower floors and the chandelier hanging above, makes you feel you are somewhere special and you really are! The main pool was heated and not deep at all and was very clean in the most beautiful relaxed setting, the red parosol umbrellas for shade, alongside the lawn, plants and shrubs and the different coloured accomodation buildings, again pleasing to the eye, so many colours to see, the detail of the grounds is incredible. Another heated pool by the spa with a jacuzzi and decking, another quiet place to relax and have privacy. The sandy pool for the children is a nice touch, I can imagine this being a popular spot in the summertime, for families this is perfect and especially for the very younger children who just want to sit in the sand area by the shallow end. It was clear to me, this hotel caters for everyone. And not forgetting the small ice cream truck that is near to the pool, to grab a scoop of ice cream or sorbet in the Algarve sunshine.
