HI Lagos - Pousada de Juventude
"It is well located in the city center but it is noisy . No proper sound isolation . Also no air conditioning , too hot . Staff is nice"
The Editory by the Sea Lagos
"Our stay at The Editory By The Sea Lagos was amazing! ✔️ Very clean and well-maintained ✔️ Spacious and comfortable rooms ✔️ Wide variety of breakfast choices ✔️ The sauna, indoor pool, and outdoor pool are definitely a must-try ✔️ Great location — close to the town centre and beach ✔️ Quiet, relaxing, and perfect for a chill getaway One of the best places to stay in Lagos if you want a peaceful holiday while still being near everything. Would definitely stay here again."
Aqualuz Lagos by the Editory
"The hotel is not at the city center of Lagos but in a walking distance. The facilities are generally good, but some of them are pretty old and need some repair. For example the toilet door in my room could not close properly as it’s cracked. The breakfast is not too bad. The swimming pools are nice."
The MN56 Hotel
"I stopped in the town of Lagos for a day during a business trip and thought Hotel 56 was quite nice. It's a boutique design hotel, and the hotel manager told me it just opened this year. It's a renovated 200-year-old house with three floors and 22 rooms, and you can tell the hotel's decor and details show a lot of care. It was off-season, so it wasn't crowded. They close from December to February for the holidays. The front desk manager, Christopher, was very professional and patient! He talked to me a lot about local history and introduced nearby attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was à la carte, and everything was amazing. I rented a car, and after unloading my luggage at the entrance, I had to park in a parking lot a three-minute walk away."
C15 - the Patio do Convento Apartment
Residence Lagos
"A very warm welcome and a generous breakfast. A very good place to stay."
N 03 - Bedroom 3 in Amaro Sight Guesthouse
"Lagos has many hills, and this house requires walking up a very steep slope. The lack of a washing machine is a bit inconvenient, but there is a dishwasher and a laundry room a two-minute walk away. Gas and an electric stove are also available, which is quite convenient. There are several large supermarkets nearby, and a huge Chinese-owned convenience store is a 3-minute walk away. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Town and about a 15-minute walk to Marina. There are four rooms in total, but the soundproofing isn't very good, especially in the hallway and bathroom. The curtains in my room were broken and looked quite old when I checked in on the first day. I contacted the agent via WhatsApp but didn't get a reply. The second day, it was very bright, and I was woken up by the light around 5 or 6 am. They called in the afternoon... They said they could come to fix it and asked when I'd be home. Luckily, I was free, so I waited for them to come. When I first arrived, the Wi-Fi wasn't working either. Later, the staff fixing the curtains said it was probably expired a long time ago, and they bought a new card and replaced it while they were fixing the curtains. The key pick-up point is a bit far from the house, a 15-minute walk, which isn't very convenient. Also, the path is made of small bricks, making it a bit difficult to walk with luggage, and there are many slopes. However, taxis are very cheap. The lock downstairs is a bit difficult to open; it requires some skill. I couldn't open it at first. The price is very competitive. I booked quite late, around 100 euros for five nights, which is excellent. Strangely, the house only had shampoo, not shower gel. I suspect the staff just put it there randomly because they all look the same except for their names. There were no extra charges at check-in, and a simple breakfast was provided every day. Although I was alone, they still prepared enough for two people."
Belver Porto Dona Maria Resort
"The Belver Porto Dona Maria is a Resort with a big Golfinh place. You book houses there which are en n good shape. Normally Kitchen togethee with big living room, bath with shower and pod and sleeping room. You have all things which are in a kitchen needed also a refrigerator and can cock by yourself. The friendky cleaning service (like Fatima) comes ever day and so its clean. The manager of the property will gelp you if you sre in trouble. A big swimming pool area is included to visit. You have a card for using it.Also the location is n near of the beach a small walk brings you to panorama views and amazing clips. I‘ve enjoyed the place and other people looking at my, of course its cheaper to book than a little hotel room of course Praia da loose is expensive."
Topcity Hostel & Suites
"My boyfriend and I chose to reserve a private room at the hostel due to the good reviews and accessibility to City center/beaches. The room was very clean, spacious, bright windows and a wonderful shared balcony. Evo was the GREATEST hostel staff- major shoutout to our guy. Pool is warm and the rooftop brings a ton of energy. Warning- it is loud in the hallways and with doors shutting. Bring some earplugs. Also, it’s very safe!"

Hotel Marina Rio
"Location is very good where bus station is just beside. Hotel service is also good with friendly staff."
The 17 Party Hostel
"The location is good, about a 20-minute walk from the train station and bus terminal, and it's very close to the center. The staff are also friendly. The kitchen is a bit small and there is one bathroom for both men and women on each floor, so it's best to avoid busy times. There is a bar on the first floor that is open late, so it can be a bit noisy at night, so it may be difficult for sensitive people."
NH Lagos Algarve Resort
"If I visit Algrave again, I will book this hotel again. Free parking was a bonus and close to the harborfront and town. Hotel staff was awesome. Room was very comfortable and clean."
Villas D. Dinis - Charming Residence (Adults Only)
"Lovely boutique hotel. Breakfast is excellent and staff lovely. Only thing to be aware of is that parking is on street, which wasn't a problem at this time of year but may be an issue in busier months"
Cascade Wellness Resort
"We like the hotel’s location as it is on the scenic cliff walk (direct access), great view and walk along the cliff. Staffs are very friendly. Room is spacious."
Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve
Boavista Golf & Spa - Bela Colina Holidays
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable at least at this time of the year in November.Ideal for families with excellent accommodation, with everything you need.Parking at the door of the house very useful. The swimming pool and wonderful garden makes a good morning trip to the restaurant."
Vila Valverde Design Country Hotel
"A beautiful rural hotel with private guest access and spacious, well-kept gardens. The pool is small, but with only 15 rooms in the hotel, it never feels crowded. There are very comfortable Balinese-style loungers available. The lobby is stunning, with gorgeous decor that really sets the tone. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large and pleasant shower. The room decor could be improved, as it doesn’t quite match the overall style of the hotel. Unfortunately, the hairdryer provided was low quality—not what you’d expect from a five-star property. We also encountered a significant ant problem in the hallway leading to two rooms, including ours. We reported it to the staff, who did their best to help, but they were aware of an ongoing infestation. It really needs to be addressed, as ants were getting into the room and even into our luggage. Despite that, our overall stay was wonderful."
Lagos Atlantic Hotel
"Except that the room is not big enough, it is basically acceptable! I am quite satisfied with the stay! It is clean, warm and the facilities are modern!"
Montinho de Ouro
"We have stayed here 5 times in total, but will not be back. I’ve always had a good rapport with the owner (over email), but she didn’t even seem bothered to reply, prior to our stay. While there, she sent a cleaner down to the pool area to tell us (a group of 4) to be quiet, as long stay guests were trying to read their books. No compromise, no discussion. We have since found a nice spot in Alvor, where all guests are treated with respect, and the food offering is far superior."
Água Hotels Lagos Bay
"PROS: Met me with a bottle of sparkling wine and a cake in the room on my birthday. That was really nice. Nice wine. Great location. CONS: : As to the total design of room I was a bit disappointed. The pictures looked nicer than in reality. I had Deluxe Room. The terrace is situated so inconvenient—> it follows another on in front. So no privacy at all. The distance b/w 2 terraces less than a meter. Pool is super small. It is situated in the area of bar and breakfast zone. I think it is uncomfortable to use it. For maximum 2 people. Breakfast is not cost its money. Everyday the same Tiny reception. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel—> price vs value."
Luzmar Villas
"We were on holiday with our 3-year-old daughter and we loved it!! The hotel is very quiet, far from the crowds that the Algarve often has, and it's only a 5-minute drive from Praia da Luz beach. It's not luxurious, but everything is very tidy, well-maintained and clean, and it has a very nice outdoor pool area. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very good. We always had dinner at the hotel and it was all great too, a buffet dinner with very well-prepared food, we liked everything! And I have to highlight the friendliness of all the staff, especially the gentleman in charge of the dining area, he was very kind to us and very attentive to details for our daughter. The only less good aspect to mention is really the dinner time, which is only served until 9 pm. We found it too early for someone on holiday and in the middle of the summer season, when you try to enjoy the beaches as much as possible. In our opinion, this is the only aspect that could be improved, at least during the summer season."
Belavista Da Luz - Wellness & Lifestyle Hotel
"Good hotel, but above-average price. It's a bit out of the city center, but it has a restaurant, where I had an excellent, reasonably priced seafood dinner."
Charming Residence & Guest House Dom Manuel I Adults Only
"We liked everything) Some people might think it's a bit far from the center, but it was convenient for us by car. There is no private parking, but we easily found a place not far from the hotel. There is a Russian-speaking Lisa at the reception. Everything is solved by calling. Very responsive, help with everything you need. It was nice to warm up after a walk in the sauna. The free 30 minutes were very useful after a long walk. Breakfast is excellent. The interior is stylish."
Marina Club Lagos Resort
"Well equipped rooms, friendly staff, spacious pool area and well located"
Clube Porto Mos - Sunplace Hotels & Beach Resort
"Lovely hotel, close to the beach. Well-groomed area. The room is a little dated, but clean. The kitchen has all the utensils for cooking. I recommend this hotel."
