"My stay at Belavista Da Luz – Wellness & Lifestyle Hotel from March 1 to March 5, 2026 was absolutely exceptional from the very moment I arrived. The experience began with a wonderful welcome at reception. Ina, the receptionist who greeted me, was incredibly friendly, warm, and highly professional. She kindly offered me an early check-in, which immediately made me feel like a valued and special guest. She also took the time to explain everything about the hotel, which I truly appreciated. My room was fantastic — comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly prepared. I would also like to give special thanks to the restaurant team, and especially to Mario. He is an incredible person — extremely attentive, caring, and genuinely dedicated to the guests. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised when he offered me a special food option that was not even part of the standard breakfast. The vegetables prepared for me were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me. Another lady at the reception, whose name I unfortunately do not remember, was also very kind, welcoming, and helpful. I give the hotel my highest rating and warmest recommendations. "Great hotel! Recommended! ! The lady at the front desk will give you a map to tell you how to get to famous attractions. The service is very good. The sangria in the restaurant is delicious, and the breakfast is also good. The rooms are basically independent on the first or second floor. The rooms have balconies and there are two swimming pools nearby. We encountered some minor problems after checking in. The cleaning lady was very enthusiastic and friendly and helped us solve the problem quickly. It's a pity that I only stayed for one night, it's definitely worth a vacation here"

"Overall, the apartment itself is actually very nice. The location is excellent, the view is beautiful, and the apartment has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it is very poorly maintained, which really affected our stay. The bathroom had black mould, and the hot water was a constant issue—it took around five minutes to warm up, then would suddenly turn cold in the middle of a shower, meaning you had to wait all over again. The cleanliness was also disappointing. There were insects around because the apartment had not been cleaned properly, and we even found a used plaster left inside one of the cupboards, which was quite unpleasant. The fridge was also broken during our stay, which was another major inconvenience. The balcony door was extremely difficult to open and close, to the point where it felt almost broken. During check-in, the staff member who greeted us was also quite rude and even shushed us, which was not a welcoming first impression. The biggest concern, however, was safety. We got stuck in the lift, and there appears to be no functioning emergency assistance system. Pressing the emergency button only triggered a loud alarm—it did not connect us to anyone or notify anyone that we were trapped, which was very worrying. Overall, this could be an excellent place to stay because the apartment, location, and view are all great. However, the poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, the broken fridge, disappointing customer service, and safety concerns mean I unfortunately cannot recommend it in its current condition."
