The breakfast is average, the hotel is in a good location, facing the zoo, I am very satisfied with it, at least here in Pakistan, this hotel is good. It's a bit expensive, and hotels that love Islamabad look more comfortable. There is a hot pot! ! ! ! All in all I am satisfied😃

Long story short, we had booked for 17th of Jan to 26th of Jan 2020 with some prerequisite. Those were at the time of booking we were informed by the front desk manager that although we are welcome to book for the sought dates, we may have to shift rooms (from deluxe to standard) as the hotel was prebooked on dates (24th Jan to 26th Jan) for deluxe rooms. The manager promised that he would try his best that we “do not have to shift rooms” since we were already residing in the hotel for the full duration. Then comes the day 23rd Jan where I was informed that I would not only have to leave the room on 24th Jan but leave the hotel, as well as there, were no rooms available. However, the Manager said that they have arranged another hotel for us “called holiday inn suites” nearby and we didn't have to worry, and it was just a matter of shifting that would be akin to counting 1 to 3. We checked out on 24th on the premise that we have a secure hotel booking arranged by Grand Enclave. I had a wedding function to attend to the same day hence I continued with the program until late evening with my wife and a 1-year-old kid. The story further takes a grim turn as the couple and their child (that would be me) wander around the dark 1 AM DHA streets to figure out where the stated hotel “holiday inn suites” are. Equipped with google maps, a car charger we circle the navigation spot (shown in google) but to our despair, holiday inn suites hotel is nowhere at the site !! just plan dark and under construction area. I try ringing the hotel numbers (both, grand enclave and holiday inn) but to no avail, both numbers show no response. I continue driving enraged, disgusted by the unethical and to be fair – a despicable act of tactics geared towards keeping the hotel occupancy high (when the hotel needed it) and then using a fake hotel bait to (respectfully kicking) their current guests out when a bigger delegation (with bigger bills) come knocking their doors. Ah yes, coming back to the 1 AM street wandering adventure, so I'm able to spot a Pizza joint (called Dominos) in Lahore DHA Phase 6 that was still open. As I walk up to it I find the security with a warm smile welcoming me and opening the door (how kind of him). I inquire about the stated hotel with a few front desk workers and tada – like unwinding spring, the workers smile and inform that “ there are many like me who come asking for this hotel, however as you would see, there is no hotel even close by this area” Heading back to my car, a confused look on my face –curiosity clinging to every word I recalled that the Grand Enclave manager uttered. Why lie, why this gimmick, why this despicable act. ?!?!?! why were there more people like me heading this direction in the quest of reaching Holiday Inn. Could it be a norm used by most hotels to kick their guests out? or could all those customer be of the same fate/story as me – coming from the grand enclave? With a despaired look on my face, I

The rooms are nice. Wooden flooring. Housekeeping staff is friendly and took particular of my room as I am very finicky about cleanliness and do no want even a speck of hair around. The understood my needs and cleaned the room thoroughly. Reception staff are ok. Had a few issues in the beginning but then were sorted. Mr.Bilal was helpful and nice from the front office. The restaurant La Messa breakfast needs revamping. Staff are very slow and needed to be reminded about things many times. They need to pay more attention to cleanliness and ensure replenishment of food done. The GRM Mrs Khalida was great. She tries very hard to make things better and takes feedback proactively. She was always on the move and helpful. I would like to thank her. Please also commend the housekeeping staff on the 2nd floor who looked after my room. They were awesome. I forgot their names but they were always on the 2nd floor in the day time. Look forward to my next visit to this hotel in a week's time.

Interior renovation is old and worn in guest room. Food quality (breakfast) especially western food is not up to standard but dinner in Chinese restaurant is good.
